Yahoo Finance advanced charting overhaul is generally worse than the previous round. Why do the left and right panels auto open and cover 2/3 of the charting space?

I am not sure what technology was deployed to update the charting, but it is absolutely horrible. The delay when clicking on 1 year charts is ridiculous. I gave this some time before commenting in hopes that it was on my end. However, I may have to figure out another site to use as the frustration as I no longer can handle the delays. Long time user of Yahoo Finance.
