I always read the Motley Fool. I had a newsletter membership 20 years ago. The advice is decent. I don't see the Yahoo format much different than a lot of other websites. Zacks comes to mind. Tail end always has a number of other stocks to consider, other than the one being discussed. They are higher rated. It's an ad gimmack. Look at it that away. They have to make money somehow.
The key is to read it if you have any interest, and then do what is right for you! Everyone feels comfortable with different types of stocks for different reasons.
I would like to see articles with companies that are well managed and why.
I am a fundamentalist and believe if a company is well managed, the technicals will follow. Yahoo has far fewer articles about fundamentals, and why a stock will perform well, just a bunch of 'charts about what has happened in the past trying to predict what will happen in the future. IMHO day trading etc.muddies these waters.The only time I ever had a stock eventually tank was because management was bad. I have had 3-4. No stories on management skill for guidance. Products were always good to very good!
It seems a lot of people own stocks they know absolutely nothing about and could not even tell you what they do! This is one reason there is so much volitility.If you do not know anything about the stock, panic easily ensures.

It would be helpful to have an option to filter out or block content. GoBankingrates.com also needs to be filtered.
