How can we improve Yahoo Finance?

Elusive - How yahoo finance calculates performance percentages. ie. stock cost, dividends, compounding etc. 5 yr 10 yr

U all are great. Would like to have some definition of how yahoo finance calculates a stock, fund or ETF performance for 1 yr, 5yr 10 year. What is in the formula. Dividends, TVM Time Value of Money, Price growth or reduction. I tried to run a model to emulate your numbers.
