Yahoo removes truthful claims but accepts false ones
Many Yahoo Finance and Yahoo News article become swamped with false and misleading posts. Yahoo almost never removes these posts, even if they've been flagged, and even though they violate the Community Guidelines.
One commenter falsely claimed that the FBI had told several lies. I knew that Yahoo wouldn't remove the misinformation, so I didn't flag it. Instead, I asked the commenter for a source.
Instead of posting a source, the commenter said vaguely that the source was "right there." He also stated that the FBI had admitted to lying and was the source of his claims, but didn't back up this assertion or provide any verification.
I replied that he still hadn't cited any evidence. My reply was automatically flagged. Then, a Yahoo staff member rejected it, even though it wasn't false or misleading and clearly didn't violate the Community Guidelines in any way.
Meanwhile, the false claims that I had responded to are still online, where they can mislead anyone who happens to read them.

- Right where? What credible sources, if any, back up your claims?
- You're just claiming that the FBI admitted to lying, but you're still not posting any evidence.
- Like 2. You're claiming that the FBI said that with no evidence. You're not verifying that the FBI made those statements, and to my knowledge, they never said any such thing.
