FIX IT
Fix your NEW 2.0 so that it works. It is slow. Sometimes it works. Most of the time NOT. I am assuming that your IT people are 3 year old DEI workers that know absolutely nothing. I have tried your new 2.0 3 times, have hated it 3 times and reverted back to classic 3 times. FIT IT! Is that too hard to understand? Or is this REALLY the best you can do?
