    I ve just login yahoo mail after quite some time and yahoo just deleted my whole inbox without any notification?

    If you have not accessed your email account in a long time, most probably it has been purged.

  3. why have you added my single alias 2 times? I DID NOT DO THIS. I cannot delete, or I will lose previous emails. Please sort this out.

    Hi, Why have you added my single alias (I only have 1) 2 times? It's the same alias. I only have 1. You, YAHOO, have somehow listed my single alias, that is the only one I use, 2 times. I cannot remove 1 of them, which you ask me to do, becuase I would lose previous emails to or from my alias. PLEASE SORT THIS OUT YAHOO. I DO NOT WANT TO LOSE PREVIOUS EMAILS TO OR FROM MY ALIAS.   4. I have been usiong yahoo over twenty years till now, but I have to say his new edition email is really poorly designed.

    When trying to replay to a sender, you would found it always replay to yourself. The email is not well arrayed, when click one of the earlier email and tried to replay to sender, you would often lost the mail. I understand the designer tried to compose everything in one folder but it seems that many things not so clear and not well designed. I would prefer the earlier edition. Hope you can change this soon.

  6. How can I mark a read message as unread in new mail?

    You can improve new mail by going back to Classic Mail. Your upgrade was all downgrades. I can't see how to mark a read message as unread, which is how I flag messages that I will need to go back to. I have clicked on every icon, I believe, but can't find a way to do it. Classic made it easy by right clicking on the message.

    To mark an email as unread check the box next to the email and press the “k” key on your keyboard or click on the More menu ( three dots above the mail list) and select Mark Unread from the drop-down menu.

  7. Make it secure. And more visually attractive.

    I'm not impressed with the forced new look on email. And the web address line continually says Not Secure. Really, Yahoo? Of all the things I do online, I EXPECT my email to be private AND secure. So far, when I close out of the new email page, I need to shut Yahoo down and restart it to see the front Yahoo news page. Rather underwhelmed with the "improvements" so far. Making Google mail seem more attractive. I feel like it has gone from steak dinner to cotton candy.

  8. jitter

    When navigating an email, i.e. scrolling to position a link in order to click on it, the view jumps back up to the top of the email. Totally annoying! There is no "Switch to Basic" in Settings>More Settings.

  9. Incoming mails has blocked!

    I've got an email saying that my incoming emails have been stopped as it's on a Mail Security Service have temporary blocked all your incoming mails ✉, because we detected fraudulent and spam activities from your mail box to some blacklisted email address.

    I know that this is a spam and that I should just ignore it as it might damage my computer or someone might hack into my Yahoo account. Here is what it says.

    In order to sign in to your account please go to mail.yahoo.com and type in your username and password.

  11. Try to see how many other people are actually in my email using my things and my name besides me. They forever switch their mail with mine.

    I'm seeking 56 copyrights that were listed in lumen data 2 months ago. I've located only a few. 1994 ,2019 ms and yahoo and aol as well as windows live.

  12. Have the email app and the desktop site communicate.

    I received an email and viewed it on my phone's app within minutes of it being sent. I logged into my desktop and then into yahoo and the email is not there!! Its been two hours!

  13. access contacts

    I need to delete contacts that are no longer valid. There is no way to access the contact list. How about making contacts easy to find and change

    To access your contact lists:

    - Click on the contacts icon in the upper right ( just to the right of sort)
    - From there you will be take to all of your contacts.
    - Click on lists to access your lists
    - From the list named click on the down arrow to the right to switch which list you are viewing
    - Click Edit to modify the list.
    - Click the x to remove someone from a list
    - To add someone type in their name or email address under Add Contacts.

    You can click the check box next to the email and use the Delete function on the top of the mailbox list.

  17. I lost all of my mails

    I don't know what happened, but today I noticed that all of my mails have disappeared.
    (I noticed a pop-up which mentioned something about "... 12 months...", but -for once- I didn't entirely read the message and just closed it)

    Somebody has an idea what could have happened?

    If you did not sign into your account within 12 months the account is deactivated and the mailbox purged. Unfortunately, the missing emails cannot be recovered.

  18. Make settings easier to navigate

    How do I turn off the suggested email recients?
    I'm writing in the body of an email and the recipient email suggestions box pops up!
    WHY?
    I want to turn it off but I cannot see any setting for this.
    I need to turn this feature off RIGHT NOW.

    We are unable to replicate this issue. The contact suggestion box appears only if the cursor remained in the To field. Please make sure you click in the email body and type after that.

    If the problem still occurs please clear the browser’s cache and cookies or try using a different browser.

  19. The related documents that you sent as a reference in recovering my emails is not applicable considering that I have not deleted all my mail

    Your reference materials for mail recovery is not applicable to my situation. I have not deleted all my mails. It was lost when you change the version of yahoo. Please recover all my mails.

    I recommend that you switch my account to the previous version of yahoo.

    If an account is unused or dormant for 12 months, it is deactivated and its emails are deleted, more info here: help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN2018.html

    If this does not apply to you, You can try doing a search or doing an email restore if the email was deleted in the past 7 days.

    In case you are using a mail client such as Outlook or the Native mobile app, emails may be deleted by that third party client. We do recommend accessing your mail via yahoo.com or the Yahoo Mail app to avoid this issue.
