Security improvement: Users must be able to view FULL email address rather than display names of email sender.
This has been proposed for a few years now, but even on the new version we still don't have an option to enable: show/display full email address of sender. This will help us prevent clicking phishing emails, which are now more and more sophisticated due to the use of AI. -

Retain essential elements of old Yahoo that actually made it useful
Bring back original homepage containing news, stocks and mail. That was my one stop shopping for all finance and communications before you "improved" the experience. The new page is also unusable on phone or small tablet because you have to move the page all over the place to get where you want to go. And now can't get mail without separate tab. I am switching my Yahoo mail account to be managed by Gmail instead until you get this right.

I read a lot of news articles on Yahoo and I go through some of the comments. Some times I make my own. At times, others will reply to my comments and I'll get an email notification that someone responded. When I click the link, it'll take me to the article, but won't direct me to my own comment to read what others have written. Please fix this.

Don't Permanently Delete emails - Legal Reasons
Yahoo must not automatically permanently delete emails from inboxes if the account remains unused for long period. It must follow example of gmail which retains emails/inbox material at least for 2 years before deleting it permanently. Sometimes, emails deleted by yahoo are very very important for the user since these emails may be needed to be produced as evidence in a court of law in legal matters. The user must be given the option if they want to delete Or retain emails in inboxes for long.

I logged into my yahoo e-mail account and all my e-mails containing very important information that I have used for about 30 years were gone. all!! inbox, outbox, drafts, etc. I can log into my account but there is nothing in it! How do I solve this?

Remove AI generated summary
Please give us the option to NOT have yahoo AI generated email summary as the "header" to my emails.

Can't report suspicious email that doesn't have return Yahoo address!
Why can I only report suspicious emails that have Yahoo addresses? I'm getting email that says it's from "Yahoo Support Team," that is not from you - and I can't report that to you because it's from a non-yahoo address?

I just would like that, you know. Your antispam system is so awful; I have never seen such bad; it irritates me much more than spam itself. Somehow, I need to wait 15 minutes before login; why?? Why do I need to wait 15 minutes? Why do I need to pass the Google captcha and then sms with the PIN code? Your antipspam is sucks. my emails go to spam, although they have ptr/spf/dkim/dmarc.
