Spam Folder
The number of messages in the spam folder needs to show like it did in the old email and it does in the inbox. I don't like having to check the spam folder all the time to see if there are messages.

I saw you replied to this request by saying we just have to hover over the spam filter to see the unread number. But that doesn't do the job at all, it doesn't attract our attention to those unread emails!

Lack of Spam message count has caused serious problems for me since I changed to New format. Please consider restoring visible spam message count!

Since the 'New' Yahoo Mail was forced on us, there no longer is any notification when there is something new in the spam folder. We are now forced to check spam periodically ourselves, instead of doing so after seeing a count of how many messages are in it.
This has resulted in my wasting lots of time checking my spam folder for no good reason, as well as my missing legitimate messages, that never should have been thrown in the spam folder to begin with, because I didn't check it on my own soon enough.
Aside from returning the spam notifications, how about not throwing mail from Yahoo Groups into the spam folder, that you should assume is not spam because it comes from your own system? And how about not throwing messages in that were originally in my inbox, but days later Yahoo decides to move it to spam?

What possible feedback do you need after 2 years? This is still an issue, especially now that the **** spam filter grabs non-spam as often as it finds spam. Especially Especially since there is about a 24 hour latency between on the spam emails. I checked the folder yesterday: empty. I check today: a non-spam email, dated about 21 hours earlier.
Feed back (meaning of the mail interface) is important. Don't *hide* information and don't *hide* system pretending to be 'helpful'.
The Drafts folder has a counter on it for how many email drafts you have pending. Why in the name of <insert deity here> do you think that 'Spam' and 'Trash' wouldn't need them. People need to know when these messages arrive, so *they* can check if the email is *actually* spam.
On that note: the spam filter is *way too eager*. For me, 75%ish of the emails it filters are not spam. They are emails I *want* to receive, even if I rarely do anything with them. Hitting 'mark as read' without actually reading does *not* mean it is irrelevant or unwanted. It just means the email itself wasn't something to concern myself with at that time.

Seeing the number of unread messages in the spam folder is important.
Yahoo often puts important messages in my spam folder, even though I have marked them as "Not spam" dozens of times.
Because the spam folder no longer show the number of unread items I miss these messages for days.
Please bring back the message counter in the folder pane. -

Wow, it looks like I'm the 50th some odd person to ***** about this, and yet you've done nothing? Since 2017?? Why do you guys bother even asking for feedback??? Unbelievable.

The issue is seeing how many UNREAD messages are in those folders, so you don't open the folder for nothing. The new improved version is worthless because it only shows the grand total and only if you mouseover.

You really need to "gather feedback" to see if this is necessary? WTF?

Please show the number of UNREAD messages in the Spam and Trash boxes!!!!!!

We need you to put back the feature of showing how many emails in the SPAM folder, just like the old email had. Without the visual number showing in the side tab, it's easy to not check the SPAM folder and lose important email. Thanks

Your classic email highlighted a folder and listed the number of unopened emails in it. Your brilliant???? new email does not. It lists the quantities for other folders. I am sure someone there has the capability of adding that feature to the spam folder. My folder listing appeared as if it was empty. I thought maybe you relaxed the rules for an email for being spam. I did something and an email disappeared. I decided to check the spam folder to see if was there. SURPRISE there were dozens of emails in it. Some of them important. If you have the capability to put numbers for other folders you have the capability to list it for the spam folder. JUst do it and stop being an idiot

Your "new" mail does NOT list a number when there is spam, the "old" version did. Please fix that. This new version is not an improvement. I don't need to know about yesterday or last week, just list mail in order as the old system did. Why fix something that wasn't broken. I've had Pro for 20 years. The very first version was the best.

Fix Spam folder issues.
Alert me with a number if there is spam in my folder. I shouldn't have to remember to hover over it to find out. And please move the "delete" and "spam" option farther apart. It's too easy to click "spam" when deletion is intended. If no number appears next to the Spam folder, that can easily go unnoticed until it's too late. -

I get email in the spam folder that don't show anything in the spam folder. If it don't show I think it is empty.

After a year of dealing with this, I've *almost* trained myself to check the spam folder daily. But without a visual reminder it's too easy to overlook. That's a real problem because legitimate email ends up in my spam box almost every day. Not acceptable.
Also, gathering feedback since Nov. 2017? Really? That's an awfully long time to sit on this.

Please show the number of all unread e-mails next to each standard folder of each mailbox and not only for "INBOX" and "DRAFTS".
