How can we improve New Mail?

My 2017 Notes have disappeared since getting the newest yahoo. I am using an iMac desktop and under the application 'Notes' I only see the

My Notes folder does have anything from 2017. Only 2016. Even on the application Notes on my iMac desktop, it's all gone since getting the newer Yahoo and upgrading my OS.

    That should read, "Doesn't have".
