I added a new contact, but was not able to get it to come up when replying to a message
To me this is a bug. I added a new contact, then went back to Inbox to reply to a message, and the new contact would not appear when I started typing the name. I had to type the email address, as if it was not a known contact. This is not the first time I have encountered this behavior.
