I figured out why Yahoo has not fixed my calendar and notes! It is on a ymail.com account and appears to be old like Classic mail and will not be supported just like Yahoo not telling us that the New mail is out dated and also is not being supported.
It’s been well over now four months and Yahoo still has not fixed my Calendar or Notepad so when is Yahoo going to fix the following?!?!?!?!?!?
On 5/23/2019 after Yahoo took away my email CLASSIC for this new and unimproved new format email my Calendar would not load because of an error. After further investigation found that the Notepad has the same error. What I get is;“We're experiencing some technical difficulties...
We’re sorry, but Yahoo Mail can't load due to a temporary error. You can try back again shortly, or visit our help pages for ways to troubleshoot the issue.
• Try again
• Visit Help for troubleshooting instructions
Temporary error: 500”I clicked on “Try again” and “Visit Help for troubleshooting instructions” and end up each going to the “We're experiencing some technical difficulties...” page again and again and again. What is Yahoo’s definition of Temporary error? Well it’s not a day so is it a week a month a year!
Give me back the CLASSIC email or I’ll send this every day until I find a new email service that fits my needs as this new email format doesn’t or I don’t have internet access.

This is horrible. If it doesn't change quickly, I will be doing something else. I have been with Yahoo for many years, but i cannot tolerate this.

I hate the way the sender's "business card" icon pops up and gets right in the way of text I'm writing when I reply. This is obnoxious and sufficient reason to drop yahoo. Also, now there are pop-up ads embedded in my list of emails. Another reason to drop Yahoo. Please stop this unnecessary intrusion. I have other email accounts and will certainly emigrate there.

The group listings are very difficult to manage.
Names are not in alphabetical or any other order.
Names are repeated many times, separately under different formatting.
Very hard to make changes or corrections -

I used to pay $10 for the pro version of yahoo mail. I have been using this as my business email for close to 20 years. This last revision is absolutely horrible!!!!! I strongly dislike the new contact list. I like the old format much better. In the new format I find it difficult to edit a contact once I do find one. How do I add them to a list? Why does the "note" section need to be in a one-line scroll? I keep customer info in those notes. $35/yr is a lot of money for a small business such as mine for a very inadequate email system. The Classic version was so much better. Why change it??

I just don't understand how Yahoo can keep making things worse with every update. At least the Contacts were relatively stable through the last few releases. Now they're completely ruined, relegated to a narrow column on the right where it takes several clicks to get to the details, and then all the notes are crammed into one little box. This is awful! If you can't go back to the old format, please provide a option to see Contacts in the main window instead of the email list, and allow the Contacts fields to appear full size.

Yahoo/Verizon Product Support,
First, read your introduction ( above) about how you ''CONTINUALLY STRIVE TO
IMPROVE OUR PRODUCTS....'' Second, go ***** yourselves. The fact that your
department can continue to issue a statement like this after 4 months of being
continually informed by your customers of email format deficiencies IS PATHETIC.Your
Department head should obviously be fired. I wonder who this person will blame and
try to pass the buck to once this topic is finally raised? The usual process of covering
one's *** by blaming others will not work here. -
