How can we improve New Mail?

For some time I've been receiving news updates. Then I stopped getting them. They were in my spam!

Somehow my news updates are mysteriously ending up in my spam. For several months, I've been receiving them in my inbox, reading and deleting them. I have never sent any to spam! So..... how did this happen????
