Folder View
I can't see the entire folder name. Make the Folder view area width adjustable by the user.

The indention to the sub-folders under a folder is non existent. The folders all blend right in and you can tell where sub folders end and root folders begin.

I just spent two entire days trying to locate e-mails from a particular source I had communicated with for years. I talked with the sender, AT&T and anyone else I could think of, trying to find where these e-mails had gone. Found them by accident today. Smart Views was empty for the past two years except for intercepting e-mails from the previous two months. Just suddenly started intercepting e-mails without being prompted. Very unhappy over this.

The 'Views' cruft keeps popping up opened and in the way of Folders (you know... using email for productivity). Each time I refresh, log in, ... I have to minimize this waste of screen space and maximize Folders.
Please allow us to FOREVER AND PERMANENTLY remove, disable, kill, maim, and otherwise remove this time and screen space waste called 'Views'

I don't use "Views" AT ALL, and would like the ability to either completely get rid of it if I want, or at least dump it at the bottom of this pane, below my personal folders WHICH I DO USE. I do use the HIDE feature on this element, but it returns every time I return to my yahoo! Mail.

I found out about grouping contacts in Help Central. But two of the videos under Views-> Tutorials are the same! Where is "Email with Style"?

In spite of numerous submissions asking to be able to delete/permanently hide various folders i.e. views, starred, unread, archive Yahoo has totally ignored these requests. When is Yahoo going to take notice of its customers preferences?

Hi
I like very much the Travel folder but it does not recognize all my flights. Feel free to contact me so i can forward you the email with the flight details that your auto system didn't recognize and classified in the Travel folder 'Upcoming' section

I do not need or use Unread, Starred or Views. Please give us a way to Delete them.
And stop opening my emails after Sending, Deleting, etc. -

- Don't make email viewing area smaller. Its why we are on this page! to READ EMAILS!
- Keep your views at bottom (below my folders) or make them removable.
- Make it easier to read and compose mails. Your site is a tool for communications, not for socializing! Please ID your PAYING target users correctly! -

Need the ability to size the folder panel. Seeing only a few characters is bothersome and annoying.
I wonder if anyone on the design team actually uses Yahoo mail!!

Another plea to allow sizing of the folder view column. When using nested folders, the names are truncated and useless. I have to hover over them, then hold my finger on the screen at the folder I want while moving emails. PLEASE widen it.

Give us the ability to "size" the columns width as we want them.

Include the entire folder names: they are truncated.

I use 20+ folders. Would be nice to see most of them on the main page (limited scrolling). Lots of white space on the right side of the page...

I agree with this having about 60+ folders. Since the width is no longer adjustable I cannot easily pick what folder I want to view. Even on a super wider monitor.
This is horrid.

Agreed! Very hard to edit names of folders if you can't see them.

Please please make the folder column width adjustable. The folder column is ridiculously narrow. I use folders extensively and the new column width makes it very difficult to see my folder name. Can't imagine who would think that the current folder width is adequate - definitely a design stuff up. Please fix it.

- Can't rename folders with subfolders.
- Sometimes can't create subfolders with names that are used by a subfolder of another folder, e.g. Folder 1 > Subfolder A, Folder 2 > Subfolder A.
- Can't move folders to other folders.
- Blah blah blah -

make 'view (photo, doc, travel, etc)' default to HIDE instead of SHOW
