Same issues as others' comments. I hate your new format. Slow file upload, whenever I drag photos in my email it doesn't upload as file.

Ever since the new company bought Yahoo Mail, the whole thing is spammy. I have used yahoo mail for years, and been very happy with it. Over the past few months you have wanted me to sign up for something to "save me money" by sharing everything with you and allowing you to look into everything that I buy, all my personal info, and who knows what else. You must have added ads, but I can't see them because I use an ad blocker, which you are now asking that I disable. I use an ad blocker because my internet is slow, and ads take up too much bandwidth to load them. So now you want me to pay for the same email I have been using for years. Or install some "wider mail extension" that will also set my default search to Yahoo. Sorry, Yahoo, Google search is better.
And the way it's looking, their email might be better, too.
Stop trying to mine every penny out of users you have gained over the years or you will be losing most of them, and we'll just use our yahoo email addresses as our spam emails and move our primary emails somewhere else. -

Funny how you don't have "ads" in your drop down category list. Ads. Ads, Ads. You plaster them everywhere. My kids keep telling me to dump yahoo and go gmail. Maybe they have a good point.
Take off your **** ads and stop giving me news stories I couldn't care less about. I don't use your email because I need to you to try and be my friend. -

You don't even allow this vote!
Adjust the way we view the adverts
Adjust the way we view the adverts, these are nearly all video adverts which while loading slows everything down, and makes it really slow to do anything with my emails.
But to be fair this was just as bad in the old version, I thought I would change to the new to help with this issue.. but that didn't work. -

Adds should not move or be video. This is highly distracting for people with attention disorders and I think is contributing greatly to slow performance.

This is a pain! It's slow, unappealing and not worth the effort. I can use the US mail if I'm going to have to deal with snail mail.

The new format is horrible. There are way too many pop ups! You cannot do anything this way! It is so annoying! The format is so slow I give up on trying to read my mail, erase mail etc. Trying to find and add contacts is impossible. My pc is constantly telling me my Yahoo settings are out of date but I can never get it fixed! Way too many problems with this. I have already started moving my accounts to another email forum and getting rid of Yahoo.
If you can't keep it simple and ad free to some extent then who wants to bother with it??? Everyone can move somewhere else!
Give me one good reason to stay with Yahoo?? -

My suggestion would be to send your techs out to work with ordinary people who use your email. Experience first hand the appalling experience you have thrust upon them without warning. Examples as follows:
1The app suffers the jitters, jumping as you scroll through whether on my windows PC or Ipad Pro or iphone.
2 When searching for emails only a select few emails are redeemed instead of all sequentially as with other ISPs
3 Its plagued with adverts which contribute to the distracting experience
4 You force the use of the App when using a phone or Ipad deliberately reducing the performance of the phone/ipad mail when not using the app by slowing it down and starting with an email from weeks ago requiring scrolling for an age.
5 On thewindows pc screen there is insufficient space given to even be able to read the email without the need to close the advert on the right. when you attempt to do this you get a prompt to upgrade, really! So thats it, I've had enough you were warned yet you have not improved things at all. I will now start the laborious task of leaving as i am sure many others will. To read your previous comments to others that perhaps they are not ready is an insult as it is your email that isnt ready, its just not functional, Shame on you!

Mail has been consistently slow every time I use it on my PC (Using Firefox and a relatively new desktop). When I click or type something in an email it often takes minutes to respond. So that I am seriously considering moving away from yahoo as it is unusable.
Even this post wasn't keeping up with my typing! -

I have been using Windows Live Mail for a couple years or longer now because it was faster, allowed "copy and paste" onto emails, simple, and worked well overall. I just could not deal with Yahoo mail malfunctions anymore. If I were typing a message the wrong letters would register from the key I actually hit ( I purposely watched and saw this happen ). Sometimes when I was typing the letters would actually STOP registering as I was typing without my knowing ( I have to look at keys a lot ) appearing to be due to ads on the right side of page changing. I would constantly have to go back and retype most of the sentence that was missing. Yahoo operated terribly slow and I gave up. I used WLM exclusively. I only went into Yahoo mail to delete and empty trash now and then. Since Microsoft is killing off WLM ( no updates or support ) and some of their other email forms forcing the purchase of "Outlook" in one form or another, I decided to check out my Yahoo mail again recently. So far it works a lot better than when I left it a couple years ago. It can be slightly slow when ads are changing at the right, but nothing for me to get annoyed about. I am now using my Yahoo email along side of WLM and will eventually switch to Yahoo entirely if happy with it. I just want to give credit where due and add something a little positive here. People tend to resist change because it often takes them out of their familiar comfort zone and they have to learn new procedures all over again, but if any of them used Yahoo a couple years ago or so ( during the time with some CEO and corporate problems ) I think they would agree this Yahoo is a lot better functioning. Hopefully it will continue to get better.

Shift+Tab does not allow me to change my from address quickly with my keybard. I have to slow down and use my mouse to click on it. I do not like how websites are removing tab stops for forms to prevent people from keeping their hands on the keyboard. It slows me down when I have to reach for my mouse.

I don't like that it keeps popping back up to the top when I scroll to look through the pictures. You asked me in a pop up if i wanted to check it out the first time I switched format. Now that I'm using the feature you highlighted it doesn't work right? Not satisfactory.
