no way will I pay for Yahoo email upgrades.
and you expect me to download an extension that gets rid of ads? what kind of morons are you? I got better things to do with MY hardware than run your software.
too many maroons working for Yahoo. guess you guys are trying to run off the people who use your services.

SO... AFTER THE 100TH DAMNED PROMPT YOU'VE SENT ME... YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT I AM NOT GOING TO UPGRADE BY NOW? GO AWAY. I CERTAINLY AM ABOUT TO. COINCIDENTALLY, YOU'VE MADE IT UNUSUALLY DIFFICULT TO EXPORT MY ARCHIVED EMAILS TO ANOTHER PROVIDER... BUT AS SOON AS I FIGURE THAT OUT I'M GONE.

I guess it doesn't matter anyway, I'm switching to someplace else for email. This was the only thing you guys were good for anymore and you ruined it.

Yes indeed, I've wanted to give a worded feedback, on this particular issue for sometime, I'm aware that allowing targeted advertising, is a revenue generator for Yahoo, and all similar platforms, but however, more to often it seems, this is a gateway for developers, to jump on the advertising bandwagon unregulated. And we all know what happens thereafter. Far too often end users such as myself, fall prey to unscrupulous adverts, that turnout to be of the Phishing type, which can lead to spyware, or some other means of obtaining passwords, for banking info, indeed most recently in my home region, the police issued a notice about recent internet fraudulent activity of this type. Therefore I make no apology for taking steps, to minimize the adverts on my system, I make no apology for not White Listing Yahoo either within my Antivirus settings. For two reasons, (1) The choice of limiting adverts with approved apps are readily available, from an app store. (2) Yahoo and other platforms, offer little or no satisfactory guarantees, against hackers, they seem to always be, one or two steps ahead of their game. Unless that changes, I'm afraid, I'm going to stick to, allowing very little adverts, every time I open my mail box.

Pop ups!
Stop bothering me with popups 'EVERY SINGLE TIME I LOG IN'. I see that this is a common complaint. (obviously falling on deaf ears) At least give me an option to block it.
I liked the classic yahoo mail look (I don't need fancy picture backgrounds in my mail account or different text layouts.) Stop asking me to constantly update my features if I don't want to.

So here I am, typing an email, and BAM, a stupid ******* pop up disrupts my productivity... every... *******... time.
You've got 1 month to fix it as of 6/21/18 or you're losing a user that has been with you for ~20 years. -

I moved to Gmail about a year ago - best decision I ever made (after using Yahoo since 1999!) I 'pop' back to Yahoo every now and again to check for any emails slipping through and ever single pop-up reminds me of why I moved away. So sad to see a great email system ruined.
