How can we improve New Mail?

emails not loading

Emails are not loading.
I click to open an email and just get a loading icon. I have to reload the page to get it to work, sometimes this takes a few attempts.

This has been happening on and off for a while so I mainly use the Gmail app on my phone to check mail as the Gmail webmail doesn't seem to work with yahoo.

On Chrome 68
Mac OS 10.13.6

    The page keeps resizing to 200% then going back to 100% in Chrome. It happens when new ads load. It's making it impossible to use. Fix it!

    I didn't like scroll+loading of the new yahoo mail and mainly preferred the yahoo mail basic listing of at least 25 e-mails per load.

    My email only load half a page. I sit and wait and it will not load the full page of my emails. Please help. I have deleted cookies and temp files and visited web pages and nothing helps.

    I can see there are a number of other people commenting with the same issue but those issues seem to all be closed so I started a new one.

    I miss when we could arrow from page to page in mail. At times I go through a cleanup phase. I sort my e-mails from sender or subject knowing that I want to look for things beginning in say Z, Y or even M. It's frustrating waiting for the emails to continuously load and scroll, load and scroll. Some quick way to move to e-mails would be helpful.

    not good, don't like it. takes too long to load anything, we need a minimalist approach to email

    Make it so Yahoo will load properly on Chrome! Its the most used browser and I hate having to open Edge or Safari just to look at an email. I see that a lot of others are having this issue too and it never gets addressed.
    The problem: once you're logged in you can only click on inbox. That's it! No reading emails, no reply's nothing. When refreshed it will load new changes (such as if you deleted off the app or the other browser)...but it's virtually useless otherwise.

    I have uninstalled the app on my phone until you remove and/or optimize all the adware/spyware you've loaded into it that makes it dangerously unstable and unworkable. I will not install it again until you return it to a state of usability. Right now, I click on the Yahoo icon, it spins in "thinking" mode for about 30 seconds and then crashes.

    Nice work! Your greed has outpaced your usefulness with all of this oath stuff. If you think that it does not matter, never forget what happened to Cable TV when their greed for ads overtook their mandate to provide useful and entertaining content to their customers.

    Lately, when I'm viewing an email, it will be suddenly replaced by a different email when new incoming emails are loaded. Very annoying. I thought that Yahoo! Mail was supposed to be new and improved. This is not an improvement. I do like the spam filtering though.

    Starred messages won't load on desktop version. I'm using Vivaldi browser. So far everything was ok. Now it's been days I get the message "An error occurred while trying to fetch the items in this list.
    Retry".
    Starred messages are supposed to be important, you know? Please fix it.

    What ever you have done in the last few weeks your e-mail does not work on PCs. It works fine on mobile app,but is impossible to use on my PC will move on if not fixed really soon.

    It takes way too long to load previous correpondence, after hitting REPLY. When it finally does, the SEND button disappears. Very annoying.

    email page goes dead. Then it asks to reload and the process continues. some real problem there.

    I understand the need for various popups - that's fine. The thing that is really annoying is that the popups do not show immediately once mail has loaded which causes a problem with hot keys. For example, I load mail and start to compose a message and a few seconds later, as I am typing the message, a Popup appears which switches mail back to interpreting hot keys. Suddenly I have either deleted my message or archived it or marked as spam or several other possibilities. Horrible user experience. You should disable hot keys anytime a popup appears.

    Sometimes the page doesn't load quickly enough, and when I try to select an email (checkbox), it opens instead. Very annoying when it's spam.
