delete email
As the rest state, please allow a custom number and type of emails to be deleted in batches. e.g. date, unread, read, sent from ...., etc.
You can follow the steps in this post to delete large groups of emails at once in Yahoo Mail:

I'm also a long term Yahoo account-holder. My account now has 16,767 emails. I could get dizzy deleting 50 at a time or suggest the following: Send to all members an email asking if they would like to delete old and very old emails?? Give them a way to date range the emails they'd like to shed, after you tell them the oldest email in their account.

its pathetic! i cant even delete all easily and import from gmail or other email site where you can easily merge dupe contacts and see them written large, like your whole screen not some little right hand barely able to see mini written version. i have used it for decades as well and you can sort emails anymore by sender either. it sucks. the app is often slow on phone too. i am moving to proton mail, will gradually get rid of this if the new owners (it just got sold w AOL to private equity) dont fix it soon.

Maybe everyone would be satisfied if you would allow members to reguest the number of emails to delete. Some want 25 some want all. Just allow the user to select number of deletions.

Same thoughts here from another 20+ yahoo user and paid pro mail services. I am feed up and will cancel pro and yahoo in general. I am looking for another mail service and wish there is some thing better than gmail. I am not a fan of google.

After having my Yahoo email for 20+ years, my contacts list is outdated and unwieldy. There has to be a way to SELECT ALL or at least a way to click multiple contacts at once to delete. Anyone have a clue because to click delete, then the popup, then confirm over 1000 times is going to make me lose my mind.
Thanks!

I have over 63,000 old emails that I'd like to get rid of, and start anew, but checking off one at a time will take forever. Idk if you can do this by PC or not, but you can't by cell.

I have over 50,000 unread messages and would like to delete them either with a date range or with an "older than this date" option. It's wasting server space and energy and the planet. It would be very green of you to allow us olde tymers to clear out junk.

An option to completely wipe the inbox clear of emails. I wouldn't mind if it sent it all to the trash folder if that was even possible. I find it unnecessary that I have to spend an upwards of 2 hours clearing out tens of thousands of emails 25 - 1000 emails at a time.

Currently, any attempt to delete or archive more than roughly 330-350 emails at once results in an error. That effectively makes the "clean inbox" tool useless for managing large numbers of emails - which should be it's intended purpose --- right??

It takes forever to delete unwanted / unread mails page by page. There is no option for deleting at one go. Can you give us an option - like Gmail does - to delete all unread e-mails with one click?

Now if you click on the seletiion box, it opens the message in a new tab. You have to very carefully right click to check the box, and then you can only do one at a time. This is a huge pain if you want to delete or move multiple messages. The only way to manage the inbox is to find a different email client to use with it, so you actually have usable features. Seems as if you want to get rid of your customers. New mail is nothing but problems. You have fixed nothing that anyone here is complaining about. Either you don't even bother to read these or you just don't care.
