Folder Count Numbers "unread"
Folder Count Numbers "unread" I'm quite surprised that most people here like this function. I would rather see the "Number Count" be Total emails in that Folder. Why do people want to see "Unread" Count in Folders? If you put them there they should be read by you, or not, but still don't see any reason that the actual count should be shown.

I would like to see the total email count for all folders, especially Inbox and Sent mail. This seems to be an easy thing to implement. I cannot imagine why it hasn't been added already.

I would like the 'Folders' header to have the amount of unread messages in all folders displayed again (like it was before the update). I have 50+ folders and Emails are put there automatically by the system using filters, not just BY me. If I have new Emails in a folder that is off the screen, and I don't remember to scroll down the entire list of folders looking for new Emails (a completely waste of time that was not necessary with the old format), I miss things...
Please put back the Unread count on the Folder heading, and also on the Spam folder so I know when there are new messages there, as they aren't always spam...
Having to go clicking all over the interface every day searching for the new emails that might have come is completely counter-productive... -

This being left off is a major oversight. Put it back

Need a total count or atleast I do I have 50-60 different folders and just a count in a folder may be good for some what of those along the way. After all those years (maybe 20+) with yahoo mail I would hate to switch because of the many flaws with the new version.

TOTAL msg counts are always available by mousing over the folder name. That is adequate. An Unread count should always be visible as a flag, which is why this same 'flag' is so necessary for the Trash and SPAM folders. Frequently new msgs come in for a conversation that was deleted on the assumption that it was over when it was not. Recently I have found several **wanted** messages in Spam which were NOT spam but no indication that there were any messages in Spam read or unread. You have broken a system that didn't need fixing, I have hated this 'new' mail since you first invited me to try it. I went back to the original abd now you are forcing me to use it again. In April, when I am asked to renew my Plus subscription, I think I will cancel and move to Thunderbird.
