Hi there. The more often you mark these emails as Spam, the more you train your personal mail filter to recognize them as such. We recommend following these steps to manage your incoming emails: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/manage-spam-mailing-lists-yahoo-mail-sln28056.html
You can always create filters: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/new-mail-for-desktop/filters-organize-yahoo-mail-sln28071.html
If you need additional help, you can go to help.yahoo.com
Thanks,
Yahoo Mail team

commentedIt seems to me it is not too much to ask to be able to block (not merely filter, but BLOCK) all mail from certain websites that end with the same domain name. I am suddenly flooded with a bunch of spam all from the same website (DomDads.com) but I can only block them individually which of course is pointless since the "names" so-and-so@DomDads.com are generated by some bot for only single use. I want NO mail from this website. I do not simply want to redirect it into spam folder or trash

commentedI can understand letting a "Visa Credit One" spam email into my inbox, but "GET RID OF FUNGUS OVERNIGHT!" ...seriously?? Seriously considering getting rid of my yahoo account altogether if they can't get simple stuff like this running smoothly. It should be an easy fix though!

commentedWhen I say NOT SPAM, it should remember who I said that about and NEVER AGAIN PUT IT IN SPAM!!! I have to keep Not Spaming the same people. It allows it through for a while, then puts it as Spam again!!!! VERY BAD FILTERS!!!!! It should LEARN from what I say, not do what it thinks! Stop trying to filter everything, especially if I've already told it about that person. Only new people it should try to spam.
Other note, I don't like the new format either. It was better before. Fix it!

commentedIf I flag emails as spam from the same sender for 10 days straight, I want the algorithm to put all future emails from the sender into the spam folder. I should not have to create multiple filters to redirect spam into the trash after marking emails as spam for upwards of two weeks.

commentedOver the past 2 months my inbox if flooded with spam. I have marked over 900 address as SPAM, and that is crazy. What the **** happened? This has literally never been an issue until recently. When I google it or search for how to prevent this, I am directed to articles that say to mark the messages as spam. How insane is that? It's my job now to be a spam blocker?
I am working on forwarding all my email to gmail so I can close my yahoo account. Even messages that in other languages come to my inbox. Crazy.

commentedIn Yahoo mail we used to be able to block some of the things that were sent to our E-Mail. In this new version we no longer have that option. Please in some way, give us that opportunity to do that. It is So aggravating to have to go into a spam folder just to see things that we don't have an interest in. We had that option with the older version and I liked it. I wish it was still there.
