Views
I understand you are not willing to allow your customers the option of deleting Views but can you at least allow us to move it under our Folders so we don't have to "Hide" it everytime we sign into Yahoo mail?

Yahoomail pro subscriber, I'd like to option to remove "deals" (smart views)from the top of emails. I don't understand why I'm being forced to see this when it's not needed. Please give option to remove.

Better still, go back to the engineers and instruct them to provide the option.
When they say "already said no", point out that that's not good enough, and they are not being asked, they are being told.
Please make stuff like this removable. It's like having a selection of ashtrays taking up space in the car when I don't smoke. -

Deal view is horrible. Imagine if you wanted to read a magazine and instead someone stood in front of you and held a small billboard above your magazine and forced you to hold the mag down by your knees. That's how pleasant the deal view is.

I have Filters that sort my mail. But all of my folders are off the screen, because of these **** "VIEWS". These Godless VIEWS are NOT used, NOT needed. I'm really ****** that Yahoo won't let us move views below folders, or even to keep them collapsed? I guess Yahoo cares more about letting us choose colors instead of making this a useful functioning tool.

Make Hidden Views STAY HIDDEN. Allow OPT OUT of Deals and other new views. They do not provide me with anything that I am interested in or care about. If they are useful to some users - Great! But let those of us who don't want to see them Opt Out and permanently hide them.
Classic Mail met ALL of my needs much better than this one does!

If I collapse "Views" I want it to stay collapsed till I open it up again. Don't like having to do it every time I open Mail.

My mailbox folder views cannot be hidden. they show every time I open my mailbox. how do I change the settings to keep the views hidden?

Yes, please allow Views to be moved below Folders. Also, why do I have to hide it every time?

You should allow us to make Views only open if we click it. Not have to Hide it everytime. I will never use Views for anything ever. Its a waste of time trying to get us to buy products that way.

Please reconsider not allowing views to be shut down. Leave the word there and give us the option to open it if we want. I never use them and they are in the way. We are old enough to make a choice you know.

I posted about this too as a reason I kept trying the "New and improved" yahoo and then kept going back to "classic". It is ridiculous. Views takes up a ton of room on the side bar, opens whenever you refresh and hides the FAR MORE IMPORTANT TO MOST PEOPLE -- subfolder where everything useful is filed, so now you are forced to scroll down. Total timewaster. Let people drag and drop to the order they want. LOVE views? keep it on top, HATE views, be able to drag and have it STAY below your folders. Now I'm forced to use this new version, after posting this review each time Yahoo encourages me to update, which I do, and go back, yet they don't listen at all...Oh WAIT, I DO have other options besides Yahoo since they don't care about feedback...

...or simply leave the views hidden once I click "Hide" and persist between sessions unless I _choose_ to unhide this useless feature.

Add my voice (I'm a long time PAID subscriber) to those who wish to permanently hide the "views" feature, or at least be able to reposition it under my "folders."

"Views"? What BS. I don't want to have to look at all that **** every time, and have to scroll down to see my mailboxes. How pathetic. If stuff ain't popular, forcing down people's throats ain't gonna fix that problem, is it? As usual, a yahoo update manages to suck even more than the previous version.

Please allow for the "views" option in the new e-mail format to be moved below the Folders. I filter into folders so that I can quickly find specific e-mails. No longer is it easy to glace at those folders to see if I have items to attend to because the "view" pushes the "folders" off of the screen until I scroll down. It would be a simple matter of allowing me the option to move "views" below "folders". In my opinion "views" is not useful and impedes my productivity.
Or...allow me to continue using the classic version , which keeps "folders" within my view.
Thank you!
