Sort by Sender (inbox) and by Recipient (sent) folders
Please add sort by sender/recipient back to the standard sort menu. The suggestion below to disable conversations is not user friendly. I can not imagine why you removed it.

Yahoo disabled this basic functionality of email that has been around for 25+ years because the Yahoo site managers and programmers obviously never use email and they are ******* morons.

Have no idea why you eliminated "sort by recipient" in Sent folder! Please restore this function. When I'm searching for a sent email I frequently don't know the date I sent it or the subject line but I know WHO (recipient) I SENT IT TO. Thanks!

Please seriously consider the sort feature. It's useless to sort sent email by sender...it must be sorted by recipient. No idea why this was ever changed from recipient to sender in the first place.

Still waiting on this important fix! I do not use conversations so that is not the answer to the problem.

Need to be able to sort by recipient in sent folder.......I am the one sending all of the emails....it is a useless sort option.
Need to continue to be able to sort by sender in Inbox.
Just add an additional sort option. And please stop reviewing all of the suggestions on this problem and closing the comments....as this issue is not fixed as of 11/26/19.

How can I switch back to Basic or Classic Email & get off this troublesome 'New Email'. It's a horrible time-waster & is backing up email into the thousands by not having email lists of separate pages to sort & delete rather than scroll through a very, very, very long list. Any keystroke can knock off all the checkmarks already done to delete. Are any of the former Yahoo computer software engineers still around to fix these severe bad email service problems?

I prefer better sort/delete email functions. Re-install 'Sort by Sender' 'Ascending' today's date to date of last email) & Descending "Date of last email to today;s date). It looks like you are copycating Gmail with the choices/icons for email in navigation bar. Has Yahoo been taken over by Google Gmail Customer Service Reps?
