    I called 800-305-7664 !!!!!
    They want me to subscribe to their yahoo support service so they can fix the problem over the phone. I said I'm not paying to fix a problem they have created they hung up on me. I spoke to John

    I want to be able to assign contact to lists, make new lists, delete lists with ease BUT it's not user friendly at all. Very very frustrating. I deleted lists and they still show and new list is no were to be seen. I'm fed up with YAHOO. Any suggestions ?

    The new contacts group list has no way of adding my contacts directly to it from their contact profile. I have to click on "Lists", then "Add Contact". The format then shows a place to put a name and email etc. I have to bounce back and forth from the contact info to the Add contact to list; copy and paste the info (unless I just want to memorize the contact info and retype it in... time waster for sure when Classic just allowed assignment to lists directly from the contacts profile.

    Why do you keep going back to the method that doesn't work? I'm baffled by your insistence to make us use a system that is not user-friendly. The old contact system made it easy to add contacts and assign them to lists. This right-side-view contact list is terrible. Who alphabetizes by first name? Probably millennials, but the proper way is to alphabetize by last name. Please correct this problem quickly. I have a list of more than 40 names that are waiting to be added to my contact list when you return the system to its working method again.

    New contact format is not working for me at all. I need to see which list/group a specific contact is in and this new IMPROVED? version doesn't allow me to view this. I've been fiddling around with the new version for the past hour and looks like I can't even add a new contact to a list/group either. Am I missing something? Please put this back or lead me in the right direction. I am getting so frustrated!!!

    Why did you change yahoo email? I cannot change/edit/add contacts to existing lists. The old version allowed you to go to the contact and add them to any list you had created. How do you do this with the new version? The new contact list is abbreviated which makes it very difficult to work with. This new version *****! I wish I had switched to google mail years ago. Please go back to the old version which was much more user-friendly.

    Same problem here. Took me some time to even find a help page, and when I finally did, the instructions didn't match what is actually on the screen.
    One cannot "select a number of contacts", only edit one contact at a time, and there is no option to "assign" a contact.

    HOW DO YOU ASSIGN CONTACTS TO A CERTAIN LIST. I HAVE READ WHAT YOU SAY AND IT DOES NOT WORK.......

    i WANT THE MAIL VERSION WE HAD A FEW MONTHS AGO. THE NEW ONE HAS TOO MANY FLAWS AND THE FORMAT IS VERY AGGRAVATING

    This is still a horrible, clumsy, idiotic useless contact list/groups design!!! I can't believe I recommended Yahoo as the simplest mail system for my friend who needs to maintain groups of friends, co-workers, projects, reunions, etc. It certainly used to be, but now it is a mess!!!

    The new contact list is very frustrating. I liked when before I clicked on a name, and it came up with information and what contact list I had them in. Very easy to change the listings for them. Now it is frustrating. When I click on a name, I have no idea if they are on a list. When I go to a specific list, the names are not alphabetical. I can't tell if someone is in my contact list but not assigned a list. I now do not know if I have sent to every one I need to. Also, I switched to basic, and the ones I have added didn't show up. I think Classic? view was great.

    I don't know what you did to contacts to mess things up so much. You grouped people with the same name with different emails under one contact! I have had to go in and fix things up. Plus when I add a name to a list and save and then go back later to the list the person is not there and I need to add again. Everything made so much more sense before. My contacts in a list are not alphabetical at all. So hard to keep track if a person is included or not. I like the way it was before.

    Not an idea. I can't find who is one what group list, and how to change that assigned group or put them on new one. What gives. I'm about to give up on Yahoo. Quite changing things.

    I had lists for our car show and other lists for our class reunion and now they're gone. I'm beyond mad about this. done with no warning and I've got to send a death notice out to our car show members (247 total) What have you done with my lists????????????? I need them restored IMMEDIATELY

    I am unable to add a contact to my email addresses. Nothing works. The contact list w/ it's "more" or "less" is horrible. Yahoo worked for me for 12 years until this change was made and now it's terrible, not user friendly, not done as normal minds think and I'm spending too much time trying to make it work. I enrolled for $4.99/month for help. First Yahoo makes changes, then charges us to find out how to use horrible changes. Totally immoral. I cancelled the "service" because I used it once and the help desk wasn't able to correct my problem. After I cancelled the service, they started charging a different credit card for that amount for 2 months until i called my credit card company. It's gmail for me. I will be making a change.

    My emails no longer autofill from my contacts. I am unable to restore auto as it is no longer an option.

    The new contacts is terrible! And this is supposed to be the "Pro" format? This is for children, not serious users. Back to Google contacts 4 me.
