How can we improve New Mail?

cut the scripting DOWN! DOWN!! DOOWWNNNNN!!!!!!!!! do you GET IT??????

can't do ANYTHING if the page will not stop the incessant SCRIPTING!!!!! I am about ready to BAIL!!
