The filters have gotten worse, which is why I have not resubscribed for Pro!
After over 13 years of using Yahoo! Mail, I have seen certain areas of performance severely decline. One area is the spam algorithm, but I believe that topic has been exhausted with little results. So the one tool I have used frequently over the years is filtering mail to folders. And yet, that has gotten worse over time as well. So much so that I have not renewed for Mail Pro the past several years. Why pay for declining performance? I have seen responses and tutorials on how to check and fix broken filters - I have worked in software troubleshooting and development for over a decade, so I believe I have more than enough experience to work through it. Yet, even if I strip out all of the filters and replace them one by one, there are still a significant number of emails that miss the filters and get directed to the inbox or spam instead of the designated folders. My main reason for continuing to use Yahoo! Mail, other than having the same address for over a decade, is the prevalence of certain unique tools in Mail that rival others. But, that may soon not be enough if you cannot fix a core issue that wastes many professionals' time - having to manually sort through email because your algorithm cannot correctly sort it.
