How can we improve New Mail?

Please reset back to the old character settings where everything isn't grouped together in notepad. This is currently unusable in its current format and seems to have changed in the last few days. You cant even do bullet points

    I seem to have lost my Notepad. Each time I click on it, the Calendar appears

    ditto. furthermore, i suspect that even if yahoo corrects the problem it will not undo the unusable mess of single huge paragraphs to the original formatting, line breaks, indents... and therefore will require hours to return to the original form.
