Spam Filter is not respecting white list (Contacts & Mail Filters)
Spam Filter Errors:
1. The emails coming from any of my contacts MUST come to my Inbox. Even if Yahoo Spam filter patronizingly thinks otherwise.
2. The Filter I apply to route mails to folders should come higher in priority to the Yahoo Spam Filter.
I have stuck with Yahoo all these years because I find "Folders" and "Filters" very neat features to organize the mails.
But I am finding it really tedious to do a 100% check of Spam folder everyday. Which by the way defeats the very purpose of the Spam filter. I find about 0.5% of my legitimate emails in Spam folder. But because some of them could be important, I have to to search Spam folder thoroughly.
A good solution while Yahoo 'fixes' its Spam filter algorithm is to provide an option in Settings to Disable the Spam filter.
Is it too much to ask for a genuine problem?

It's best to mark these emails as Not Spam to keep them from going into the Spam folder in the future, as the algorithm improves. If this issue persists, reach out to us through our Help pages:
