Auto-Block Emails by Algorithm
Either develop an algorithm to block emails containing gibberish or misspelled words in the subject, sender's email address, offers of free stuff, ridiculous prizes, and other nonsense, or let users develop their own algorithm using observed patterns if Yahoo doesn't want to be bothered. Make this an option that users can switch on or off. I am pestered with a handful of emails every day that seem to come from the same source. They offer free lawnmowers, hair dryers, computers, and tools, and they mimic name brand items and companies. If I was in the legal department at Shell Oil, I would sue Yahoo for allowing it to continue.
