How can we improve New Mail?

Please don't put videos of people getting hit by cars in my empty inbox

I don't love seeing videos of people getting hit by cars in my empty inbox. The morality of putting non-optional video ads into peoples' inboxes non-withstanding, please at least filter them so I don't have to watch someone die when I log into Yahoo.
