sign in failure
I have now successfully signed into my email account 6 times and it refuses to sync. Yahoo absolutely sucks. Need to spend a day just setting up new account and leaving Yahoo all together. But now I understand the name. The employees at Yahoo are a bunch of literal yahoos.

Yahoo isn't taking folder like 3-12-2024 Emergency Room pictures will not send message and can't be saved on a draft

Funny how Thunderbird worked perfect pulling email from cox but it can't pull from Yahoo. I think Yahoo doesn't want third party email apps to work because you wouldn't be seeing any of their ads since advertisement is their business model.

I was forced to use Yahoo email by cox cable. They have made everyone transition from their email server to yahoo email. Now Thunderbird no longer works. Even yahoo support couldn't get Thunderbird to pull email from Yahoo, and then hung up without a word after 30 mins on the phone . Thanks for nothing!

So to summarise - gnag004@yahoo.com has 2 factor authentication with the first code sent to mobile number and second code going to a Gmail account. I don't have access to the Gmail account anymore. Is there anyway to reset password on my gnag004@yahoo.com email address given that I can't access the code being sent to Gmail account??

HOW DO I CONTACT THE CUSTOMER CARE TEAM? Going to help.yahoo.com opens a "HELP CENTRAL" page which gives you self help options and they don't apply. Even the CHATBOT is giving same options. What do I click on so that a customer care team member can remove the Gmail recovery email address from my gnag004@yahoo.com email address so that I can reset the password for the gnag004@yahoo.com account. CAN SOMEONE CALL ME ON +6481820744 PLLLLLEEEEEAAAASSSSEEE!!

Yahoo support has been horrendous to get in touch with. I have an email address - gnag004@yahoo.com, which I can't log into and clicking the forgotten password link sends a recovery email to a Gmail account which I have lost access to. Now, I require tech support help, and I called multiple international (US) numbers and tried Yahoo Specialist online which just keeps going in a loop back to the main page. I would even have tried to do the premium support, but that also came back as something which is NOT available in my area.
NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING HAS WORKED!!!! Had I known it would be soooo difficult to get some tech support for yahoo, I would have changed over a long time ago. Need to have some form of support in Australia too.
NOW, how do I remove my Gmail Recovery email from my yahoo email address when I can't sign in to the yahoo account as it says "invalid password"? What do I do and where do I go for help?BTW: I have used a separate yahoo ID (my partner's) to put this post, PLEASE do not confuse it with the email account I have written above which I am struggling with.
HOPE SOMEONE CAN APPRECIATE THE FRUSTRATION I AM FEELING.
