When you hover over the list of mails with your cursor it would be nice to have a pop up like effect
In the simple way i think is something like a pop up hover effect like the tailwind code "hover:scale-105"
I think it's gonna be a small but huge improvement of the ui/ux

ARGH!
Is there a way to get rid of the new large section under the list of Inbox messages? I want to be able to open my chosen message and view the entire thing, not just a small portion below what still shows on the Inbox list when I move the unwanted bar as far as it'll go. And there's no way to close a message that's been opened without moving it elsewhere, when the next message opens on its own. Put things back the way they were before - or at least let people choose what they prefer. PLEASE!

Get rid of Split View
I now find that I cannot file emails because the screen keeps moving to the right and presenting an option to create a Split View. It is bloody frustrating as I can't use Yahoo filing functionality and it makes me physically queezy!

Hovering mouse over folder name in message list shows full folder name
When you search for all messages from a specific sender, there is a column that indicates the folder in which the message is found. If that folder name is too long it is truncated with an ellipsis. If I hove my mouse over the folder name, a tooltip should appears to show me the full folder name.

Bad color combinations
The “track your package” button/link in your newly recreated email program is illegible – white against yellow, or whatever these colors are, doesn’t work. Please make a simplified email program, and stop trying to “improve” Yahoo! Mail by making more problems for users.

can't read my folder names, make folders, email list, and email viewer ADJUSTABLE.
Can't read my folder names, make folders, email list, and email viewer columns ADJUSTABLE.
Maybe you could TOGGLE the folders between 2inches and 3inches wide on my 24 inch monitor.
That would help, i don't need the wide all the time. - Stephen -
More problems with the new, empty block under the inbox list.
The same newly appearing large section below the list of emails (I just left a message about) – I don’t see a way to close a message after opening it. And all the other emails in the list, and the new window’s blank area, are blocking being able to view everything that was visible before. Please stop messing with things that we get used to, making more problems than we already have!

Upper part Search area space
The upper part Search area space and the menu bar space take up too thick area, almost one fourth of the page, if preview is open, the space for the mail is limited. It is barely workable with a desktop, for small notebooks, the screen size can hardly accommodate the mail area when upper and lower parts largely occupy the page

In Yahoo Mail Plus, when I go to read opened emails, I can only see about 3 lines without going to the upper area and decreasing it
When I open my email, I'd like to see it in its entireity. Also, Even though I have gone to settings in Mail and to make my font bigger and clicking apply, I have to do this every time to make the font bigger. Why can't I set my fonts in email and not have to do this everytime I write an email.

expense not anticipated
Very disappointed in finding out that there are now many ads showing up in our Yahoo emails. We have the comcast email address and were told we had to switch to Yahoo. This was not an easy task for an 80 year old but when done we get your notice of the ads and that we would have to pay $4.99 per month to cancel ads. I/we feel that is totally not a customer friendly way to force people to deal with the required switch. We are on fixed income, do not need the additional benefits offered. If we could…

minimize the headers on your webpages.
add the tabs, the address bar the bookmarks and then your header and there is only half a page of viewing space. Get rid of you excessively large header and allow it to be dismissed

refresh list of emails when i receive new ones (old one used to)
Refresh list as soon as new email arrives so I don't have to hit refresh. I don't like how emails are greyed out even though I selected light color in preferences. I also don't like having to select move to and then hit an action button. You need to test these things first before rolling out. I"ve had this for many many years and these new 'features' are nothing but a pain.

Provide a way to indicate that a mail item should be under a different tab
I see Social mail items when viewing the Primary tab. I only want to see them under the All or Social tab, not under Primary. Please provide a way to indicate that any mail items from the sender's address be moved to a specified tab.

Add an easy method to attach other Yahoo emails to an email
Right now I've been looking for how to attach an email I've sent in the past to a new email I'm currently composing. It should be an up front and easy process but for the life of me I am not able to find it. My idea is to simply add under the attachment icon (the paper clip) the option to search and add a previous email from the inbox or a folder. Some attachments can be other than files.

Allow users to override your automatic spam detection
Your system tries to predict what emails are spam. It doesnt work. I keep having necessary emails sent to spam folder. I would rather select unwanted emails and mark them as spam myself, then your system can search my spam folder and assign spam to any subsequent emails matching those unwanted emails.

"Alert/notification" option on all emails...
to easily turn on or off (default) notifications for specific senders. There doesn't seem to be a way to do this currently, or if so, it's rather involved.
