Coming Soon: Default to "ALL" Instead of "Priority"
I will often let Offers and Newsletters pile up for a while, then go through them all in one go. But, annoyingly, if I open a message from, say, the Newsletters view, then move the message to a folder, I get put back into Priority view - argh! It should return to the most recent view I was using (Newsletters).

Please set the "All" option to default. Your idea of "priority" is completely different than mine. I liked the old mail better, I had more control over MY email.

when are you doing to fix this? I'm not seeing all my emails unless I change to "all". People have been complaining for months and you haven't fixed this. how do I make "all" default? why did you make me have new email when it wasn't still broken? I want to go back to basic thank you

Turning off inbox categories to make "ALL" the defaut is NOT WORKING! It still keeps defaulting to Priority. How can anyone know what messages are a priority to individual people - bad design! How can we get this to work with "ALL" being the default???????????????????????????????????????

Yes! Also, I have several email accounts and when I switch between them, it automatically defaults to Priority instead of All. So I have to click All just to see new emails.

I agree with this. I want the default to be All. There should be some way to set what your tab is always on by default.

How can anyone think it's a good idea for "Priority" to be the default after returning anytime to the inbox, even after reading each email. I turned off the feature which allows me only to see All the emails without the other options (which is fine with me but may be important to others). How about the Settings include an option to set the default to whichever category each user wants. One size does not fit all!

I usually want to stay in the "All" view, but the new interface keeps taking my into the "Priority" view. Please keep me in the "All" view!

I don't like this either. If I click on a tab, I want it to stay there. I don't like Yahoo taking command of my email. I want to see all of my emails, so I want it to stay on "ALL". It automatically goes to "Priority".

Hey Chris, good to hear from you, Old Friend! We will certainly share this with the right set of people. We could definitely replicate. Thanks for taking the time to write this and for using the new desktop experience. Keep the feedback coming!
