moderator is right you can click the 3 dots "..." under the word folder to access it....., but why Yahoo? Why take away Spam and Trash and make it a 2 step process something that was one click away? Seems to be time wasting.

Totally agree!!!
Old Yahoo! e-mail was way better in all means.
There's an old saying: "If it's not broken - don't fix it!"Totally agree with the posters: please fix Spam and Trash with option to remove all of them at once

It is very annoying having to delete item from SPAM one at a time I like the old way, which you could delete all at once!!

I also use the Empty Trash and Empty Spam options from the folder list in the old version. Once in the folder, the "All" box does not select "All" the emails, it only selects some of them. I usually want to delete ALL emails in the trash and spam folder! You must make us specify if we want to select the current emails listed, or ALL emails in the folder! The new yahoo email is nice, but you didn't include this feature from the old yahoo email version.

With the new Gui in place, the little recycle bin that was in the old gui is not there. This made it easier to recycle the space needed without having to go into the folder and selecting all, this is useful especially for the spam folder.

These instructions (see below) provided by yahoo do not work.. I do not have a trash icon to the right of the word trash
Mouse over your Trash folder in the Left Navigation column.
Click the Trash icon Delete icon to the right of "Trash."
Click OK to confirm.
Wait for the confirmation message "Folder Trash was cleared" to appear. -

Please bring back the "empty trash" button!!
I am having to delete 100 at a time, and when I select all at the top, it doesn't work. -
We have shared this request with our team! It has been a popular request. We will keep you updated on this forum/thread. Thanks for your patience!

Hi Michael, thank you for giving the new design a try! We really appreciate it. We do have a section dedicated to the new desktop experience: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/new-yahoo-mail. You can also get there by clicking on "...." in the new left hand menu and then Help Center!
Currently "Emptying Trash" is not an option, but if you go to your Trash folder (also clicking on "...." you can certainly delete your trash folder there by clicking on the Select All checkbox at the very top!
We will also share this with the team! Thanks again for pointing this out! -

How do I "empty the trash". The "help" seems to give instructions for the "old" UI.
