Add an option to turn off AI summaries.
It might be useful for people with robust business-style accounts, but most of my messages are already short, or they're notifications. It makes the "summaries" redundant and obnoxious.

The latest version produces an AI summary of the message. However, the summary should be removable since it almost caused me an incorrect airline booking (financial consequences).

Please let us opt out of the AI summary. It just gets in the way.

The "summaries" provided in the list (Inbox) view are confusing and inaccurate. (Not the least because they use the second person voice - very weird!)
The "summaries" provided in the message view are worse. At least half the time they display inaccurate information, the other half they show me info I can get more quickly and easily from the message itself. Please PLEASE ***PLEASE*** provide a setting to turn off these features on desktop (just like you do in the app) - they are doing more harm than good!

Please for the love of God make that AI Summaries **** able to be turned off. I don't want it and honestly it ****** me off so much. The AI **** is so redundant, half my emails are short and it's summarizing it even longer than the actual email. Please get rid of it, or at least make it so if someone doesn't want it they can turn it off. And if there is one, please send me a how to shut this **** off.
Not a fan of my folders being compressed into one folder that I have to drag the email and hover over. Just show me the folders.
When I'm trying to delete multiple emails in a row this new update makes it impossibly hard. It will select everything but what you want to delete. I just want to select the first email, hold shift and select the last email with the emails in between selected to delete. No other emails selected besides those. How that got ********* I don't know.
The only thing I liked about this recent update is that if I delete an email it doesn't automatically open the next email that was below the one I deleted. That was the only good update I can think of. I dread having to look at this new email layout more than I dreaded looking a the old one. Ya'll tried to make it so cool, fresh and sleek but all it did was tick me off with it's unusable features.

Make it easier for users to eliminate the AI summary in emails. The summaries are unneeded and often inaccurate. It now takes me longer to get to my messages.

Please stop giving an artificial intelligence summary to my emails. It just makes twice as much for me to read. It is totally redundant and unnecessary and I wish it would be discontinued.

Please give me an option to remove AI summaries from both the email body and the subject line.
They are adding no value for me. On tablet they take up a significant amount of the available real estate. Maybe the help other people, but PLEASE let me shut them off if I don't want to see them.

I have used Yahoo Mail for years but I will stop very soon if they keep it up with this AI garbage and interface changes. Are they feeding my personal emails into an AI database? That sounds highly illegal.

They are a gross violation of privacy!!! I never want AI reading my email, under any circumstances.

I find the AI-generated previews to be relatively useless. I have tried to turn them off, but still get many messages with them. How do I stop them completely?

Please make AI summaries optional.
This morning my 75 year old mother-in-law called me all confused, asking me why I said something totally different "in purple" [referring to the AI purple box] than what we had discussed previously. She didn't understand that it was AI generated and didn't get why the message was so wrong (because the AI is poor and it didn't capture her email content correctly). The AI summaries are a waste of time and energy. People need to still actually read their email anyway, so at least make AI Summaries optional, please. Thanks! -

I do NOT want AI summaries. I can read my emails perfectly well! They are neither helpful nor needed, and are just clutter I have to scroll through to get to the message.
I do not want them there, and I do not want the private contents of my emails being ingested by AI. It's an environmental waste, and irritation of usability, and an invasion of privacy, and useless to me.
Your terms flat state not to put private information into AI queries, but then give me no way to kick AI out of my inbox.
While it might be useful to many, it's just irritating to others. It's easy enough to make both sides happy: Give me the option to opt-out of AI in my inbox--both mining and "helping".

AI summaries are useless noise at best, but usually much worse. It's a feature nobody asked for and that helps nobody. It wastes space and takes away attention from the actual, correct content of the e-mail.

I hate the summary that yahoo is giving me, summarizing the email I'm about to read. I want a way to turn off that feature right now. Hate it.

I found directions for how to turn off the summary feature, but the items the instructions said to check and toggle within More>settings were not listed. Please add an option to turn off the summary feature; it is incorrect, misses necessary information, adds unnecessary information, is unable to distinguish if the recipient of a forwarded email may be more interested in the "not important" information contained in the email, and it requires the reader to take extra time to scroll down to the original message. I much prefer seeing only the original message when I open an email. If I am reading a series of emails, all that extra scrolling can add to an extra hour of time spent on emails--and I would much rather be spending that hour with my kids.

Please I am begging you, how do I turn off the little box with the AI summary at the top of an email? I want to get rid of it and cannot find the setting anywhere.
