Can 'select all' be made visible all the time?

Hello, I saw in a couple posts that the 'select all' box becomes available once an email has been selected. Personally, I'd prefer it if the 'select all' box was always visible. It's honestly kind of annoying that I have to select an individual email in order to make the 'select all' box visible. Also, I recently realized this, but when I'm in a filter/folder other than 'all' I instinctively think the 'all' is the 'select all'.

    Where is the Select ALL and Delete ALL box to check? I can't locate it

    Just go back to the previous version. Nothing else matters. We like Yahoo, not this Gmail clone you've made.

    The multi select email should always be visible. I use the un-read selection to mark all new un read messaged so I can delete them. I go through and unmark the ones I want to keep. Need to being this back!!

    Thanks Rachel! We will certainly share this with our team. A lot of users have had issues finding the Select All and then Delete All. So perhaps this is a solution. Again, we'll share with our team. Thanks!
