Can 'select all' be made visible all the time?
Hello, I saw in a couple posts that the 'select all' box becomes available once an email has been selected. Personally, I'd prefer it if the 'select all' box was always visible. It's honestly kind of annoying that I have to select an individual email in order to make the 'select all' box visible. Also, I recently realized this, but when I'm in a filter/folder other than 'all' I instinctively think the 'all' is the 'select all'.

The multi select email should always be visible. I use the un-read selection to mark all new un read messaged so I can delete them. I go through and unmark the ones I want to keep. Need to being this back!!

This seems to be a trend, I've seen in other VERY important and used web app, where files and folders in the Trash had a Select All displayed (or you could delete individual / one / more items, all checkboxes where present). But now a genius has decided to confuse the users by hiding all these, and when moving, by chance, the mouse pointer to where the Select All checkbox used to be, then lo and behold, this and the rest of the checkboxes appear. I've been scratching my head ever since, and I would have loved to hear the point of why hiding something that used to be visible and giving NO indication whatsoever how to make it appear, letting the user fumble, is better...

Is this already fixed? I see the select all checkbox all the time...

Thanks Rachel! We will certainly share this with our team. A lot of users have had issues finding the Select All and then Delete All. So perhaps this is a solution. Again, we'll share with our team. Thanks!
