Make Trash and Spam Folders More Accessible
why make things harder to access? there's plenty of room in the left menu bar for those to be openly accessible.

Either bring back Trash and Spam folders to the folders pane (so we don't have to go to Options each time we want to see them) OR let users choose if they want to include them on permanent display or not.

Burying SPAM and TRASH folders is crazy. I wonder what kind of analysis developers did to conclude thats what people want? This does not elevate Yahoo Mail and only further drives its reputation as the 'throw away' email even further.

Why did the spam folder disappear?

For an email service, this would appear to be a clearly obvious and logical thing to do ... I looked for a way to reorganize the menu bar and couldn't find one ... The current implementation is an incredible illustration of bad decision making ...

Would be nice to have the ability to edit your favorites on the left side. Example, if I want to show certain folders or the trash folder I should be able to do this.

I am SOOOO angry with the new design!!!!! STOP pretending to be Gmail!!! NOT being Gmail for all these years was Yahoo's! superpower.
Plus, I am now missing folders & I have to DIG to find the folders with what I need for my international trip that I am in the middle of planning. GRRRRR

Who were the systems analysts in charge of this redesign? They either did not solicit input on the functionality, or they ignored it because they didn't like it. They should all be demoted.
I literally just left Yahoo Mail after more than 25 years over this. It's "only" one extra click but IT'S SUCH A STUPID, UNNECESSARY CLICK.
I already had Gmail for dealing with businesses but I'm sunsetting Yahoo and going to ProtonMail permanently.

There is absolutely NO reason to force Unread, Archive, Spam, Trash, and etc to be hidden unless you click the ellipses. Make those VISIBLE AGAIN. Idiots.

This new update sucks. I really appreciated the classic version. You can see the emails clearly and it shows how many emails you have. -Coming from a company where many of u use the Yahoo. We all don't like the update.

Please fire the person who made the user interface. The user experience is horrible. We cannot access spam emails. Everything is so big on 27 inch monitor. This is unacceptable. The previous user interface was 10 times better than this ********.

How do you block senders now? In the old client, that was easy task... Now I don't see the option at all.

Make Spam and Trash folders visible in the same way as Sent and Drafts are

I check my spam folder daily because real emails get filtered there sometimes (especially job search emails). Hiding it will make me forget to check it. And since yahoo clears out that folder after a week you are in essence deleting emails that are actually important and that I never saw.
It's like the designers made changes for the sake of making changes. Were there no focus groups before releasing this disaster to the general public? -

Why make every basic email function harder to do or access? How does adding extra clicks and unwanted submenu popups to everything make Yahoo a better product? Why are the mobile apps now more feature-rich than the browser UI/UX? Are you guys going to ruin those too? At least add some simple options in the settings where we can check off the folders which we would like to have displayed on the left.
New Yahoo mail is like a dollar store version of Gmail but at least with Gmail the extra click to see the trash and spam folder don't include an archaic popup like new Yahoo. I'm bewildered. Here's another redundant reminder that your user base is here precisely because this was not Gmail. Now we have to deal with wonky clone instead?
This is a masterclass in bad design and it will be referenced as such future textbooks and university web design programs.

I agree, make them accessible not under the 3 dot menu

Yahoo's spam filters are not that good so i regularly check the spam folder, but now you've made it harder to access. Why???
