Make Trash and Spam Folders More Accessible
why make things harder to access? there's plenty of room in the left menu bar for those to be openly accessible.

100% hiding the Spam and Trash folders was top shelf ignorance by the designer.

Because of not seeing spam folder on the main page, I missed an important email that went to spam. When spam is on the main, I remember to check it.

Spam & trash under extra click & then when I block & delete the email, they put them in the trash
Seriously, why the need to do that?! We've been deleting spam emails after blocking without the need to delete them from trash. Now Yahoo is just forcing more effort just to go through spam & trash

Why move the spam folder? why make this even less user friendly to empty the spam folder? The reality is that emails get accidentally sent to spam. I check it often and keep it empty so it is easier to check. Over the years I have had several emails sent to spam that I might have otherwise missed. At least allow the folders to be customizable and moveable.

Make Archive folder accessible to move emails into it.

Why is this still just under review? This is a no brainer. Hiding these folders that people use every day makes no sense. PUT THEM BACK!!!!

If you at least added a way to add the folder/label icons for Spam and Trash instead of hiding them so I have to navigate more, that would help somewhat. Jeez.

Please make folders visible at all times and other folders like trash and drafts more accessible like they were in the old version (which was better). Still don't know why Yahoo had to change something that worked so well.

Regarding the users who comments on how this new redesign is going backwards:
Yes, as a 25+ years long user of Yahoo, I confirm that the new washed out, stripped out of everything look actually reminds you of Yahoo Mail Basic. Do you remember it? It's still hidden there. If you go on the three dots on the left pane, it unhides "Settings", and there in the settings, look on the left, eventually you'll find "Swith to basic Mail" which will turn your mail into simplified, barren looking page stripped of most of the graphic, with just purple header the rest white, primitive buttons and functions. But at least you do have the basic ones now missing, at least it is white and not gray, with gmail rounded edges.
I won't scream here that with things being like this, I will go to Gmail or AOL. THAT would not be pleasant to me and would be no better FOR ME so Why change my e-mail address I am used to? If I can make myself used Yahoo Basic again, then every time a new kid that comes to Yahoo management in the future and decides yet another crazy redesign of Yahoo mail to suit young mobile people who don't even own a desktop computer anymore (they don't really care whether the old users dislike, they will die out), I will be spared. It won't touch ME. So yeah, I switched to Basic.

Just go back to the previous version. Nothing else matters. We like Yahoo, not this Gmail clone you've made.

Now that you've created more real estate on the left hand side, please put spam and trash back in with the other folders (inbox, sent, etc etc). stop hiding them.
Since your new spam filters are not great, i keep having to go in there to restore valid emails to my inbox. -

GO BACK TO THE OLD LAYOUT!!!

Please put the spam and trash folders back on the top-level menu along the left side of the page like it used to be. It is inconvenient to have to go to the sub menu to find these folders. I use them EVERY day. Why do you people make thing so difficult? Who decides these asinine changes anyway? Certainly not someone who uses Yahoo mail. . . . .

How many times I must mark a message as NOT SPAM to start arriving in the Inbox. 20 times is not enoght.

Either go Back to the old Yahoo OR let us customize TRASH AND SPAM to be in our list under Inbox!

I'm migrating my Yahoo Mail to Gmail. No need to to use Yahoo Mail anymore. I could say more but Yahoo will just delete comments they don't like or find offensive.

Yahoo techs need to put down the bag of Cheetos and fix these issues. Who ever said, I wish Yahoo would HIDE their most IMPORTANT FOLDERS?.

You need to give the ability to customize the navigation panel on the far left (Inbox | Sent | etc) so we can add items like Archive and Trash that are hidden and remove items that we don't use that much or at all like Folders.

I missed important work emails as the Spam folder doesn't show if there are messages! There should appear a number or something to show we have messages in the Spam folder. I have a paid Yahoo! subscription
