Make Trash and Spam Folders More Accessible
why make things harder to access? there's plenty of room in the left menu bar for those to be openly accessible.

100% agree with these comments.
Make Spam and Trash folders visible AND indicate how many items are in each. Why go backwards? My other email apps don't require me to click and click !!

Folders, trash, spam and all needs to go back to the left side like it was before the change. Why make it more work and clicks to get to all. Plus this all white on white and light black text is so ******* the eyes. ****** design

This new email reformat is exactly why you don't have geeks design "user friendly" products. For the most part, the aforementioned geeks are so far above the average user that they no longer know what is indeed user friendly and make things unnecessarily complicated for the average user. (Nothing against geeks, it's just that their experience with programming and the use of advanced programs makes them different than the everyday user.)
Personally, I need my Spam and Trash folders back to where they were visible below the Inbox and Sent options. "Just one click" to find them adds up to many, many clicks over time, clicks that the old way didn't have.
There are other issues with this new format that are inconvenient and unnecessary, but this one is the most important to me at this time. Some people may like the new "improvements", but not this gal, nor the many others who have also commented on this particular issue.

Please put the trash folder back on the primary menu. This is a common folder that I shouldn't have to go looking for.

This new mail page really hurts the "at-a-glance" experience. Why do I have to hover over the icon in the bottom left to see my other mail inboxes? Previously, all would show at the top left and I could instantly see if I had mail in one of them.
Folders as well have been collapsed along the left side. And going to my SPAM folder also requires a second mouse click (yes, every mouse click is considered a barrier to streamlining). I need to check my SPAM daily, as I occasionally get important emails that end up going to that folder.
Rather than improve efficiency, which is what this should strive to do, the current layout has made it worse. Please allow users to revert, or make changes to the layout to improve the experience.
Thank you,

Either bring back Trash and Spam folders to the folders pane (so we don't have to go to Options each time we want to see them) OR let users choose if they want to include them on permanent display or not.

Burying SPAM and TRASH folders is crazy. I wonder what kind of analysis developers did to conclude thats what people want? This does not elevate Yahoo Mail and only further drives its reputation as the 'throw away' email even further.

Why did the spam folder disappear?

For an email service, this would appear to be a clearly obvious and logical thing to do ... I looked for a way to reorganize the menu bar and couldn't find one ... The current implementation is an incredible illustration of bad decision making ...

Would be nice to have the ability to edit your favorites on the left side. Example, if I want to show certain folders or the trash folder I should be able to do this.

I am SOOOO angry with the new design!!!!! STOP pretending to be Gmail!!! NOT being Gmail for all these years was Yahoo's! superpower.
Plus, I am now missing folders & I have to DIG to find the folders with what I need for my international trip that I am in the middle of planning. GRRRRR

Who were the systems analysts in charge of this redesign? They either did not solicit input on the functionality, or they ignored it because they didn't like it. They should all be demoted.
I literally just left Yahoo Mail after more than 25 years over this. It's "only" one extra click but IT'S SUCH A STUPID, UNNECESSARY CLICK.
I already had Gmail for dealing with businesses but I'm sunsetting Yahoo and going to ProtonMail permanently.

There is absolutely NO reason to force Unread, Archive, Spam, Trash, and etc to be hidden unless you click the ellipses. Make those VISIBLE AGAIN. Idiots.

This new update sucks. I really appreciated the classic version. You can see the emails clearly and it shows how many emails you have. -Coming from a company where many of u use the Yahoo. We all don't like the update.

Please fire the person who made the user interface. The user experience is horrible. We cannot access spam emails. Everything is so big on 27 inch monitor. This is unacceptable. The previous user interface was 10 times better than this ********.
