'Message preview' bug
under Settings---> Appearance---> Message Preview...the toggle to 'Show message preview in inbox' is not working...no matter if I set it On or Off it always reverts to On...I want to disable 'Message Preview'
I've tried using multiple web browsers including Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome...I also refreshed my browser afterwards...it's a bug in the new Yahoo Mail software...please share this with the Support Team to fix

I have my inbox displayed as a list, and the option to disable message previews doesn't work. I still see the message previews and it is obscuring the titles of the emails.

I'm using the new 2025 version of Yahoo Mail (Desktop PC version with Google Chrome browser)...when I go into the Settings---> Appearance---> disable 'Message Preview' (Show message preview in inbox) it doesn't work...it always stays enabled...when the new Yahoo Mail was first released I submitted feedback and was told it was a known bug and they are working on fixing it...any idea if this will be fixed anytime soon?...Thank You

There is an email setting to determine whether to display message previews in the Inbox in addition to the subject line. This setting does not seem to work. I have the setting turned off, but the Inbox continues to display both the subject line and the first line of the email message.

Thanks Daniel, yes that setting is broken or not working. We are aware of it and we are working on a fix. Thanks for your patience!

I like the new email except that I do not want any message preview when I am looking at my inbox. I want to see the full subject line and not the first line of the email. I have tried turning off message preview, but that doesn't do anything. I don't like how Yahoo mail shorten the subject and make me click on the message. I used to be able to delete unwanted emails without fulling opening them. Now some emails I have to open to see know if it is important. Please make an option to just see the full subject line.

Message Preview still won't shut off after all this time, despite it being set to off in Settings. I only want to see the subject line in my list of messages. Let's get this done, please!

I have message preview set to off, but the messages still show the first line or so of every email in my Inbox. How do I turn that off?

There is an option to turn inbox message preview off and on... I have it set to "off" but I still see the first line or so of each email from the Inbox view. How do I turn that off?

I do not have previews turned on, but they continue showing up. I HATE them! I don't want to see them.

I have dynamic messaging toggled off but it's still occurring in my emails. My idea is to make the dynamic messaging toggle actually work.

Please ensure that preferences for viewing emails "stick" when chosen. I'm trying to stop seeing message previews. I don't like this feature, and I've turned off previews in settings, but my choice doesn't seem to stay in effect. Thank you.

My Yahoo email screen suddenly switched to what must be a new version. I went into settings and changed the Dynamic Message option and nothing happened. I want my old screen settings back but for the life of me I cannot find how to do that. I have been a yahoo email user for many many years but I just totally dislike the new screen layout.

Why do we have these previews on our emails when the previews are turned off in the settings?

I opted out of receiving the previews because I absolutely hate them yet I still get them with some of my emails. The previews are a total waste of time to read and do not add value. I don't need or want Yahoo's "help" with my emails. My expectation when I opted out of the previews was that I would no longer receive any previews.

Message preview is always on even if it is turned off in settings. I like to see the full message title and with message preview both message title and preview are truncated, which makes for a cluttered, awful appearance.
Although a fan of minimalism, the absence of the possibility of selecting themes is disappointing.
Why are the options below folders hidden? There are just 8 of them.
In the old version, the block sender option in spam would both block the sender and delete the message for good. In the new one you have to select the message square and block the sender, but even then the message only gets removed from spam to trash. -

Get rid of Dyanamic messages, or make the slide bar work to turn them off !!!!
