How to Keep Folders Expanded? Here's How:

I read all of the responses about the expanded folders. It is not functioning the way you described it. How do we keep the folders expanded even while going through emails, etc. I need them to stay expanded! All of the time!

    In the left hand column, I used to have all of the accounts listed, then Inbox, Sent, Drafts, etc.. I much prefer that view rather than having to go into a menu (...) and choose the account from that. This new way is so cumbersome and frustrating to say the least. It was nice when I could click on one account, then another, which I often used to compare notes and such between 2 or more accounts. It is such a distracting inconvenience to have to go to the bottom of the screen, then look through the list of your accounts to switch between them. This is incredibly annoying!! Please go back to the old view

    please allow us to decide if we want to see all folders on the left panel permanently

    Please show the various folders we create, like before, instead of having to hover over the one folder to see all the sub folders. Did it just take up too much space? I like seeing them out, and moving emails easily to them, or deleting easily. Thanks.

    At one time, we used to see a list of folders, but now we have to click on the folder icon and then choose a folder to view. Once a folder is chosen, that folder comes up and the rest of the folders goes back into the icon. It would be easier to have a list of folders so we can go through them to delete older emails and even a folder. The way it works now is we have to click on the folder icon choose a folder and then delete it and go back to the icon to check another folder. A list would stop the going back and forth to the icon.

    I hate that I have to click to opening up and view folders, I want to be able to see if I have new emails in them without having to click on folders... in general there is a fetish of wanting everything to be flashy and hip rather than functional... i have filters that push emails directly into specific folders so i have to click on the folder button and then scroll to see if i have new emails.. make things functional first then you can optimize looks if you have aneed to stay relevant... basically the new look / layout sucks... its primary goal is to make it look hip, not functional, which is a big mistake

    Please! Please! Please! Fix the folders and how to navigate them. The scrolling is to fast and it's so difficult to manage and organize emails now! It was better before. PLEASE FIX THIS!

    I use a filter to send emails to a specific folders. So I want to see all the folders so that I can see which ones have unread emails. Please all me to choose to displace the full list of folders rather than a small pop out box that only shows a few folders at at time.

    Just to let you know, most of my accounts for Yahoo have been deleted and we are switching accounts with Gmail. Again, I don't know who changed the format for yahoo, but it's absolutely terrible. We can't change title to a folder without the folder disappearing and all the information becomes lost. Scrolling down on our email It bounces all over the place. I cannot wait to get totally out of yahoo email and my company does not trust yahoo anymore. You did a great job of messing it up by changing the original format.

    I want to show all folders down the left side of the screen all the time, not just the folder icon. Your new Yahoo Mail preview said you can do this, but I can't see how.

    I do not like my folders collapsed in the new setup. The option to expand and leave them expanded would be nice.

    How can you keep your list of folders hidden? Why not keep them always visible? NOT a good improvement to the new Yahoo.

    Folder view - i cant have the folder view expanded all the time it appears with the new layout

    Enable Expanded Folders. I prefer to have all folders displayed and not hidden. It would be great to have the option to choose that for myself.

    Why are you guys making the UX worse? Now it takes longer to view folders as they are hidden, it takes longer to create filters, view spam, etc.

    I am on a desktop with a large screen and you are making the UI so minimalistic such that it matches a mobile UI. What sense does that make?
