Conversation View
Reading and responding to emails within a chain is almost entirely unusable. You don't need to include the entire chain of responses with every reply it makes is so confusing and unreadable.

Hi AnnaNicole, thank you for the feedback. We will share your feedback about the Conversation ordering with the right team. In the meantime, if it's really confusing and you don't like it, you can disable Conversation view and go to Individual view under your Settings. Thanks again!

I cannot deal with the layout of your emailing... LOL it is SO CONFUSING, and I use several different email platform domains. YAHOO has the most scrambled-up and confusing email-string layout, when someone replies it shows up randomly within the email somewhere and I have to search where my response is even supposed to go - please make easier to navigate... I don't remember it ever being so difficult to hold a conversation in YAHOO. LOL THANK YOU!!!<33 - PS. it's okay if you can't do anything, I just wanted to give feedback.

Within each conversation (email) can you offer the user an option to show the messages in chronological order (i.e. from oldest to newest, or newest to oldest). I prefer to see the messages from newest to oldest. I don't like having to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the emails/conversation before I can see/process the latest email.
Thank you! -

it would be better to see the most recent email in a conversation, rather than having to scroll down to see the most recent one

I reply or forward a note and my note is on the bottom vs on the top as the first thing a person would read. Not the way it was in the former version of yahoo and not what I want.

Please go back to the classic way in which email threads are in sequental order. I now have a hard time finding original emails and attachments. When I hit reply the order in which the email is being written is not sequential and makes everything very difficult and confusing. I can not find an important document that was just sent to me this morning because of this stupid new format you guys use.

Hi,
The email threading function is impossible to navigate. Rather than retain the email's autonomy, where you can reply to it locally, things get buried as though it is the last email in the thread. Outlook is a much better model for large group email chains. Please stop the trimmed content feature!

The stacked e-mails and conversation views are not easy to navigate - they're often misleading and a general pain when reading or replying to e-mails. Grouped conversations are fine, but each message needs to be separate and separately opened. The current UI/UX is not enjoyable or easy to use.

please go back to normal email layout where older messages in a thread are below the newer ones. it makes no sense to make email like a texting program.

The new Yahoo Mail layout is incredibly frustrating to use. Email threads are difficult to follow, especially when there are multiple replies—they're not shown in proper chronological order, which makes conversations very confusing. It’s also not intuitive to figure out how to reply or navigate within a thread. Overall, the interface feels clunky and not user-friendly at all. I'm seriously considering moving my email to another provider unless significant improvements are made.

Email reply conversation order seems to be almost random when viewing the chain. It's simple, email chains need to be chronological, with the most recent displaying first, then descending in chronological order. Imagine SMS messaging being displayed out of a discernible receipt order.

Thanks for providing feedback on this! We will definitely share this with the team and come back here to update. Thanks!

In the previous version the latest email in a string was on the top. Now it's on the bottom of the string which forces you to scroll to the bottom of the message. Why in the world would you do that???? Please restore to putting last email at top.

In email threads, please put the most recent email on top when sending and receiving. The rest of the world does it this way.

Thanks Olan! We will share this with our team as we have been seeing more and more noise around this. Thank you!

In a long string of email replies back and forth, the messages are in order from top to bottom, but then I see my most recent reply followed by the rest of the string of emails in reverse chronological order. It seems that the "trimmed content" is automatically expanded sometimes, but not others? In some emails, I don't see the option to collapse what would be considered "trimmed content", it is already automatically shown as in the example below:
For example:
Email 1
Email 2
Email 3
My most recent reply or in-progress draft
Email 3
Email 2
Email 1Essentially, my most recent reply ends up sandwiched in the middle of two copies of the previous email string. It's so confusing and frustrating when I try to compose a reply as well. I'll start typing and need to refer to something in an email further back, and then I have to try to find my in-progress response somewhere in the middle of the emails.
Please pick one or the other! I prefer the order of having emails listed top to bottom with the most recent at the bottom. If you have the option to "show trimmed content" please do it in the same order as the original email string with most recent at the bottom, and make sure it is always collapsible.
