First, can I ask if there is a user guide for how to use these feedback screens? I received a comment to a submission, I click to read the comment but it only takes me to what I submitted. there is a Responded button below my submission. I click it and I end up on this screen - how is that helpful?
This was my submission: Why are there deceptive spam ads between my emails? I have one right now that is false and deceptive. The ad in question says: 'Drive Storage Your Cloud is Full Click here to upgrade' and it takes you to a site called rootkitrodeo.click. This is a complete false ad, my cloud storage is not with that business nor is it full. Why would yahoo offer spam ads like this?? And the response that doesn't make sense: Hi Sean, we do have ads on our platform, unfortunately. We are always changing the placement based on our client's needs. We understand not everyone likes the ads, so we do offer an ad-free experience if you upgrade to Yahoo Mail Plus, but of course it's not mandatory. Thanks!
What do you mean you don't have ads on your platform? They are all over the place. It would be nice and save us both time if you could response to the actual suggestion. I wasn't complaining about ads in general - I wanted to know why Yahoo is supporting spam ads? I keep getting an ad between emails in my inbox that says my iCloud storage is almost full - This is a lie and a deceitful ad. I dont understand why you would be advertising false ads. I clicked on accident since it was in my inbox and was afraid I might have gotten a virus by clicking it. My suggestion - vet the ads you are accepting because it makes you look just as deceptive for pushing false ads on your customers. Right now that same ad you have inserted between emails in my inbox says 'You've Run Out of Cloud Storage' which is false and its click bait...are these really the type of ads you want to present to your customers. thanks
