deleing draft
I’m writing to express my deep disappointment with a recent experience I had using Yahoo Mail. I was in the middle of an important conversation and attempted to delete a draft. To my shock, this action deleted the entire conversation thread — not just the draft itself.
This behavior is highly unintuitive and extremely frustrating. When a user chooses to delete a draft, the reasonable expectation is that only the draft message will be removed — not the entire conversation history. Losing an important conversation in this way was not only upsetting but also very disruptive.
To make matters worse, I couldn’t find the deleted conversation or draft in the Trash folder for recovery. This lack of a safety net compounds the issue and makes it feel like a significant design flaw.
Please consider reviewing this behavior and providing users with more control and clarity around what exactly is being deleted. Additionally, allowing recovery of such content from Trash would go a long way toward mitigating accidental losses like this.
