Return to Classic Mail
Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

@Anonymous, should listen doesn't mean will listen. I've been in contact with the Yahoo+ customer service as a paid customer. They reply with one short sentence customized to your input and the cut/paste a canned line about "try it and you'll like it". Zero interest or support. They've planned on some attrition and they're willing to take it. They aren't changing up this drastically just for fun. Somehow, they think it improves their business, or they are just planning to kill Yahoo mail in the future. If the latter, they're doing a great job of it.

@Adam Duke, Same thing happened to me. I was able to use the Classic version for days as described on Reddit. I briefly switched to the new Yahoo to get to this feedback link and then completely lost the ability to return to classic or even the basic. It's like either a counter threshold was hit or they switched the system to prevent reversal. My recommendation would be to never click on the try new Yahoo option and continue with the path to classic. Very much agree with your statement that the old version isn't discontinued. It's actively being blocked when the user takes certain steps. In short, don't try the new version!

The fact that this is the top ranked issue means Yahoo should listen. The new look is like everything lately, a dumbed down/simple version. We don't need change. If you want to offer a new look, fine, but don't force implement it. My Inbox has been split into multiple sections and defaults to what you think is "priority." My personalized color theme, the old backgrounds, gone. The notification of changes email I get from Yahoo is less than welcoming for feedback, "If you don’t agree to the updated Terms, you can terminate your agreement with us by closing your account." I can't stand using the computer version now, thus I'm basically stuck using my phone or iPad. Please offer the classic version again. Thanks in advance.

I would also like to add that the classic version HAS NOT BEEN DISCONTINUED!!!!
My friend still has it; because he "Opted out" So they are letting some people keep there classic version & forcing other people to switch without the option to switch back???? Very sneaky Yahoo. STOP LYING TO PEOPLE about the old version is discontinued when it is still available!!!!!! -

Today received a new "Term of Service" email from Yahoo. It highlighted they are not responsible for damages caused by their service. If you don't agree, then delete your account.
Not deleting just yet. Migrating to another provider and it will take time to update business, family, and friends with my address. What Yahoo hopes is most people will capitulate to this mess and just deal with it. They don't realize when it burns a lot of time moving, users won't ever come back. They're playing a game that most won't jump. OK for some but it's a good opportunity to delete old emails, re-organize, and go with a better provider.
As people are asking in other forums, yes, this is being forced on Yahoo+ account holders as well.

I DETEST THE CHANGES. I CAN'T EASILY SWITCH BETWEEN MY TWO YAHOO EMAILS.
WHY ON EARTH DO YOU THINK YOU MADE IT EASIER? MAKING IT RELY ON FACIAL RECOGNITION DOESN'T HELP EITHER. MY DESKTOP COMPUTER DOESN'T HAVE A CAMERA NOR A MICROPHONE, ON PURPOSE.
