Return to Classic Mail

Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

    I want control over my email again, fonts, color etal. New isn't always good esp. for us elderly who can't deal with all this unnecesary/unasked for change.

    This new version is just AWFUL!! Does not show folders without clicking. Does NOT break down emails by days/weeks/months/etc. Cumbersome. Go back to classic version. EVEN OLD AOL DOES THIS!!!!!!!!!! Never thought I would say AOL is better.

    Is Yahoo! trying to get WORSE at email?!?! Checking my email has turned into a grind and something I loathe doing! The new interface sucks. Period. Ditch it now! It has no redeeming qualities at all. It's entire purpose is to show as many ads as possible, gather my data so it can be sold, and corral the user into using Yahoo! email in a specific way.

    Let me be clear on this - YOU DON'T HAVE TO OPEN A NEW TAB FOR EVERYTHING! THAT'S ANNOYING! And no, I will never use the app! Ever!

    Reasons the new version is terrible:
    1. no option to shut off your terrible ai email summaries. they're never helpful, get in the way and probably cost huge amounts of compute
    2. slow
    3. ****** attachment handling (why are you making me download a pdf and re open it in a new window just to be able to print it) print is print. download is download.
    4. your idiotic logo engine puts legitimate company logos on spam emails making this platform MASSIVELY more succeptible to phishing scams
    5. of all the ideas to copy from gmail, you pick putting ads in our email feed. congratulations, you've now adopted the WORST thing about gmail without being as good as gmail.

    I really liked the "old" classic Yahoo Mail, I hate this new standard one. I've used Yahoo for more than 20 years as both private and business email, but if it will not be possible to switch back to the classic version in the near future, I will have to look for another email provider and leave Yahoo forever.

    I don't want to have to click and click and click to get to folders. Yahoo sucks with it's billions of ads, too.

    this form us NOT good. I can't find trash or spam easily. I liked the classic version way better. can see all at a glance.

    no themes
    no gear icon for setup

    As a courtesy to Yahoo Email, I switched to the new version to try it out, as I have occasionally done over the past few years. I do not like the look or feel of the new versions, preferring the speed and simplicity of Basic. There was always a link to switch back to Basic. That link is now gone! So, as a courtesy to those of us who tried the new version, PLEASE add a link so we can switch back. Thank you.

    Normally I can adjust to change, but this was too much. My actual email is now 1/3 of the screen. Huge ads to the right that are distracting and annoying. I'm insulted that AI thinks I'm incapable of reading my own emails and tries to summarize them for me. I absolutely hate that Yahoo thinks it knows which of my emails is "priority" and only shows me those first. Excuse me, that is not Yahoo's business to delve into my messages, tell me what I should be looking at first, analyzing and regurgitating them to me in a dumbed down way. This version is not helpful at all and I can't stand it. And to top it off, we can't revert to the previous version, so we are forced to use this. It is inconvenient and annoying. If they don't roll this back, I'll be switching to Gmail.

    The old verison was 10 times better & easiery to navigate, the new version lookes looks like an unfinished copy of Gmail !

    It ******* sucks!!! Go back to the old mail or I will start using gmail exclusively! Why did you fuci it up.There was nothing wrong with it.

    I use Yahoo Mail for work, and I can't work with the new version. I will find another email service provider if the classic Yahoo email will no longer be available.

    Give us back the old basic ui. This new one is ugly and overly complicated for basic email use.

    I must return to the old version. I do not like the new version. I should have been given an option I do not like it.

    They finally did it. Even with the paid Yahoo+ $5/month accounts, they removed the ability to go back to basic. Can't disable the AI summary. Using a mail client to avoid using this horrible interface until I can fully migrate all to Gmail and cancel the paid account. Yahoo simply is killing off their mail customers. They don't want the business and they are succeeding. Good job Yahoo! (and shortly Good Bye!).
