Return to Classic Mail

Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

    This version is terribly ugly. Like a person who cheated their way through school using AI to do projects for them had to design this unaided.

    The new format is horrible. I might have no choice but to switch to a different email address with Gmail, this new format is unusable. I've used the classic version since 2000 and now they decide to switch it up!!

    You can give me back the old yahoo mail. I ******* hate, despise, loathe the new mail.I changed it back to the old mail and it reverted back.You Bastards at Yahoo change the e-mail back.The new POS mail sucks big time.Everyone hates this **** ****, give everyone the option to change back, you **** *********!!!!!!!

    I like the accounts at the top of the page instead of the bottom. In the new version it is hard to see individual emails in the list. The lines between the emails need to be more defined like in the classic version.

    I figured out how to switch back to prior version of yahoo (not mail) and the option to switch back to prior version of yahoo mail was offered on my iPod but for some reason, despite being switched to new version without warning or permission just yesterday I can't find the option to switch back to prior version of yahoo mail on my laptop. Please provide this option to every yahoo user on earth regardless of device. The new version doesn't work at all on iPods, just try typing a message, see what happens, oh yeah, nothing happens, not a single character even appears. Even if the new version was functional, which it isn't, it's an eyesore. Get rid of it all together or at least give every person the option to switch back to prior version. I can't stand even looking at the new version. It looks unrecognizeable, like something other than yahoo mail and if people wanted something other than yahoo mail they would already be using it. People use yahoo mail because they like it as it is, or rather, how it was. You can offer all the new features you want as options but why make it mandatory for everyone to use something that's completely unfamiliar to them?

    I don't like the new email at all. We should have been given a choice,not just change to the new one.I want the classic version back,the new one is terrible.

    I’ve had a yahoo account for at least 25 years and this update might be what gets me leave. There have been some terrible updates in the past and I’ve put up with them. But this update…hoo boy. This is a doozie. It’s difficult to tell the difference between read and unread emails. My inbox doesn’t tell me the number of unread emails. The gray background on emails is unappealing and the reduced contrast makes emails harder to read. I can’t expand my folders. The admins keep telling everyone to click the drop down arrow next to folders but there is no arrow. The starred/contacts block off to the right is a waste of real estate. Why isn’t there an option to get rid of it? I really hate this update so much.

    Change for the sake of change is profound IGNORANCE and naught else I enjoyed Yahoo mail but it now SUX considering moving, you need me more than I need you!

    The "OLD" system was easier and better to delete and transfer to other places

    Allow users the choice for if they want to use the new view or the old view. I'm sure you think it's better but I don't appreciate Yahoo paternalistically deciding for me.

    I have a great idea...when I access my email on my Android phone not using an App, I see more emails than I do while on my computer. Something went awry with your latest email upgrade/which is really a downgrade.
