Return to Classic Mail

Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

    Congratulations! You have managed to ruin mail for the majority of your users. If we wanted a poor imitation of Gmail, we would be using that service. The AI summaries feel intrusive and redundant, take up screen space and are totally useless and more often then not wrong. Only two choices for Theme and both are harsh and hard to read, not to mention ugly. Weird rounded edges on the 'boxes' are distracting and unattractive. Folders no longer on the main screen, no tabs, and the trash and spam folders hidden and no longer under our control. You say it is more intuitive, but it is not. You say it is more personalized, but it is not. All personalization is gone, replaced by an unintelligent AI and a lack of choice.

    there's a reason why ALL my friends laugh when I give my email address out, once they see "@Yahoo" they giggle. It's because after 20 years of use the use has gotten worse, not better. The email interface/view is horrible, the classic view was much better but had it's flaws. To completely remove the ability to switch versions seems like "Here, choke on this giant donkey D" to it's users. Please give me one reason why I should even consider using Yahoo anymore, for anything. Bet you can't outside of a canned response that's uninformative. The news side is horrible (one sided and click bait filled), the ads are suffocating, and the email interface is...****. And now it's gotten worse.

    First time confused , in 10 years , with the new Yahoo Version.

    I am not Computer expert to effect suggestions. Simply , I cannot function with this New Yahoo Version.

    I used to read: Compose Inbox , sent ect .....so wirh a click , know where you are and what you
    read , with the new Yahoo version , you have to translate symbols ...no reference what you read
    - where you are reading what , in one glance in the USUAL BAR IlLUMINATING ...Inbox or Spam

    Not only that : If there is an attachment to a message , click on it to appear in the next space to
    the right , to enlarge for reading, the square little symbol with the DOT ( supposed to indicate
    the existance of attachment) does not function .... further to that , if want to forward the attachment
    , with a click on the BOLD BLACK arrow above the attachement , you had the attachement
    moved to he left side and COMPOSED ready. Impossible with the New Version. Perhaps ?
    there are other means....but this is what I know and I was working 10 years doing so ,sutisfied.

    There are other funcitions not achievable ??? by me ! or the program. E.g to open Sent-rocket
    sign , read - remind ect...and move to the Folder, or Archive or re-sent-reminding ect and if there
    is an attachment, it does not work as expected , and mostly thecho attachment do not go - with the Classic Version such choice was provided , to sent the attachment or not .

    Please RESTORE FOR ME THE CLASSICAL VERSION , since you provide me the choice and
    lets hope ! you improve what you are doing to offer better services. TKS

    If you're too stubborn to listen to all of these users then please give us an appearance setting option that looks like the classic version but still has all the new features that you want to add. It's not hard to do and we can all go back to intuitively using our mailboxes the way we have for ages now. Why do you have to force this on people?

    I have been with yahoo for over 20 years. The new version is painful to view, overstimulating and just not clean at all. I hate it! Please please please allow us to go back. I accidentally pressed the new version and it is horrid. The e-mail summaries are redundant. It is making work harder.

    I loved the old classic version. Liked how all my added emails were on the left with the number of emails in each mailbox. That was the best feature. Now I have to go on the bottom and select my added mailbox individually to check my emails. PLEASE LET ME GO BACK!!

    I don't like this new version! I don't even like the fact that it was changed without being given a choice! Please return my email to the classic version, or give us the choice to return! Something!

    This New Version is Absolutely Horrible. Garbage !! What idiot on your Staff came up with this idea to get rid of the Classic Version and go to this new version that you have forced on me. I am unable to now do emails efficiently and missing so many things that the Classic version had. You have wasted so much of my time. Give me the Option to go back to what works, The Classic Version. It was not broken but this new version is. Does anyone actually view these comments. You now have over 3500 comments telling you to GO BACK TO THE CLASSIC VERSION.

    Coloring all emails and marking them as "Priority" when they are NOT, is Very annoying. I prefer the simple plain uncolored text for emails.

    I hate the new version of Yahoo Mail. It is very confusing, especially on long threads with many replys. Please bring back the classic version asap.

    I can't do this. I am so frustrated. take me back to normal mail. this is stupid. i hate it. I will quit yahoo.
