Return to Classic Mail

Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

    The new inbox version is BEYOND HORRIBLE!!!!! I can't switch back to Classic.

    This is AWFUL. Why all of these icons? I don't need to see these stupid icons. I am not a teenager. I have been with Yahoo since 2003 and I don't want to leave, but I may have no choice. Again, this is horrible. Please give us the option to revert to classic.

    Please bring back the classic version! I really hate this new appearance, it’s not user friendly at all. It’s not I’m not willing to try new things, but this design just doesn’t work!!!

    You need to go back and review what worked in the old model, before you discard it. This is a human factors disaster. For one thing, stop the automatic categorizing of priority mail. Let the user decide if they want this. And if you implement something like this, make it much more sophisticated. For example, mail from specific sources could be automatically placed in designated folders, set up by the user. And if the user does not want this, keep all of the mail in one place. Google really messed up by linking response documents to other documents, and the relative simplicity of Yahoo mail made it much better. But if you want to change, you need to be much more sophisticated about it. Right now, this is getting very dysfunctional for me.

    Agreed! Please ALLOW US TO GO BACK TO THE CLASSIC VERSION!! I want the old UI with the preview pane and drag and drop to all my folders. I've used Yahoo mail for years and have my system - please don't make us learn a new format every 6 months! Life is already too complicated and we don't need this new interface!

    How could anyone in the Email business design such a horrible terrible poor new version of an Email set up? Then force this on your Users without letting them stay with the Classic Email version. You have so many things now missing in this new Version compared to the very good Classic version. Your new Version is Not well thought through at all. It doesn't look like it was even tested before you rolled it out. So many Bugs in it. I see now today that under settings that yahoo has removed the Option to even "Switch back to the Basic Email". It was not that good compared to the Classic version but much better in many ways than the new Version you have forced on me. Yahoo will be lucky if a Class Action Suit isn't started against Yahoo with the way, you have forced & rolled out the new Version with so many things missing and destroyed from your Users. The new Version SUCKS big time. GO BACK TO THE CLASSIC VERSION. If you were good businesspeople, you would read now in just this one subject over 3300 comments that are telling you that you have made a horrible mistake with this new Version & to GO BACK TO THE CLASSIC VERSION. You have wasted so much of my time with this horrid change.

    This new look is juvenile and bubbly. It was as if you asked all the characters in MY LITTLE PONY to design the new look. Bring back the old look. This is awful.

    This is no where ready for production email.

    Just look at the complaints.

    What's the reasoning to force an unworkable product when you have a working email?

    i HATE THIS NEW VERSION OF MAIL. IT WAS FORCED UPON ME AND IT IS NOTHING LIKE WHAT I ENJOYED IN THE PAST. LET ME GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL VERSION. I GUESS ILL JOIN A FEW OTHERS AND LEAVE.

    I know UX/UI designers are expensive n stuff, but this needs to go. It was perfectly fine and now it has many issues. The biggest one is that it isn't easy to read or tell what is going on. Switch back. We gave it a shot and it still sucks. sorry.

    did NOT ask for new version, have used Yahoo since 2007.....considering alternatives.

    A lot of people think it is stupid to still use yahoo mail. I told them that it works and I'm used to it. Now it works worse and I'm not used to it. No reason not to switch to gmail now.

    I love how the new version doesn't play nice with magnification. Can't see anything because I'm nearly blind.
