Return to Classic Mail

Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

    The new version was designed by a Golden Doodle that failed at basic design. You will loose so many customers but really you dont care. Read the comments, no one likes this, they all hate it.

    New format is garbage. Poor layout, wasted space, zero categorization by year. The old version was far superior. I've stuck with Yahoo for 10+ years because the efficient layout. This change has me seriously considering abandoning yahoo all together - it's that bad.

    OK Yahoo mail is going to run like a dictatorship. Millions of faithful customers are telling you that they want the old version back and now you don't even give that option. AKA dictatorship, Makes you want to go, HUH. Is it easier to steal identity, is it easier to track your customers. Bottom line, IT SUCKS. If that is how Yahoo wants to go, I knew there was a good reason not to cancel my Gmail. If I am missing something and there is an easy way to switch back, I haven't found the mysterious OPTIONS button anywhere, or anything anywhere where it says to switch back, by all means show me. ****** OFF 25 YEAR CUSTOMER, going 100% to Gmail.

    Note: Some administrator incorrectly merged this into a COMPLETELY UNRELATED topic about "Why a limited number of emails per page? Why is there only 25 emails per page?" There used to be a preference setting to control the vertical spacing of items displayed in the inbox. This setting was REMOVED.

    The new inbox only fits 8 lines of mail on screen (at 100% zoom on a large monitor). It used to fit a LOT more. Not only does this disruptively require me to immediately start scrolling to see any mail more then three hours old, it makes it painfully difficult to scan through older mails.

    It appears that webdesign schools have been teaching that "more whitespace is always better", and they are wrong. All the excessive whitespace your web design team keeps adding leaves almost no space for actual useful content on screen. At a minimum, RESTORE THE "INBOX SPACING" CONTROL SETTING.

    I have stuck with Yahoo mail because it has a much nicer format, more customization, more visually appealing, and it has the ability to click an icon and see ALL emails from the same sender at the same time! All of the special things about Yahoo mail is why I haven't switched to GMAIL, and now it's just like gmail, but worse! PLEASE GO BACK TO THE CLASSIC VERSION!!!

    Why the **** are we being "upgraded" to a new view that looks like ***! Setting it back to the "classic" view somehow looks even worse with the changes from today and is practically unusable. Who would want any of these changes?!?

    This new version is horrifying to use. It's visually very distracting and mail that is read and unread are too subtle in there appreance. I have to think too much to decipher which emails i've read and which I haven't. It's difficult to pin point what one thing makes this new version so horrible but I think that's it. It's so bad, I might finally switch to gmail and do the long process of changing my emails everywhere, because this is dog ****. Major downgrade, holy cow.

    To Yahoo Management team, trying to get to like the new look of my email home page when i sign in to check my emails IS NOT !!!!!!!! happening and here is why, I BLOODY ******* HATE IT !!!!!!!!! with EVERY !!!!! fiber of my being so when i set it back to how i had it then it stays that way moving forward. Yahoo management has no right to alter how my inbox is to look and they need to stop trying to force any new looks upon me. The new look is TERRIBLE !!!, IT SUCKS !!!!, & I ******* HATE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    go back.. we all hate this, I don't want the gmail look, that's why I stayed here all these years. I assume you don't care... so change away is likely your answer.... my way or the highway right... seems you don't really care, you are just going to do it.. why are you even asking for feedback, I see you are closing them... probably deleted them as well. All because we don't like what you did? odd

    Please go back to the way Yahoo mail was. This one makes me want to use anything BUT Yahoo mail.

    It used to be clean and orderly. Now it is cartoon-like and there is waaaay too much information on the page. ALSO, when I am reading a somewhat long email, it just closes the email. I have to go back to the inbox an REOPEN it to continue reading it!! FIX IT!!!! This is awful. I, too, will consider leaving Yahoo mail if I have to look at this new interface. It is horrendous.

    My Idea is leave my email presentation alone. I can switch to Gmail if you like. I don't want the new format and hate it already. Just leave it alone.
