I'm all for improvements and changing things up but...this new version feels as if we went back 50 years. The unread emails look like ads because there's no differentiation. Unread should jump out like they did before. Read email should be softer. Grouping emails by what Yahoo deems as "priority" causes one to lose emails constantly and there's no way to default to "all". The color scheme allowed is only black & white...tough on the eyes. The list goes on. Please give us a way to go back!! I'm using basic now because it's actually better than the new version.

If there's no way to change back, I'm deleting my account and just using Gmail............

Former format was much easier to use. I do not like the looks or the functions of this new version. Why make things so complicated??

I need yahoo to change my account back to the prior format! This new look is delaying and adding to my workload. It is critical that this be done as soon as possible, it has already affected my business. You're not doing your customers any favors. Please return to old format.

The new version managed to hide all messages dating back months. The old version was sometimes awkward, but I got my messages, which is what I wanted.

When telling you that this change in the mail layout is awful is an understatement. I want the choice of previous layout or this not a forced change. Wake up Yahoo and do the right thing and fix it.

why make a change that is not as easy to use or that is simple to something that is not as simple or is harder to use , i don't understand making a change unless it's just you make a change to show your doing something ..

I think we should at least have the option for the classical version without AI. Not a fan of the forced change.

I clicked around and found "Switch Back to Basic Mail" and it seems to have worked, for the moment. I'm anything but basic but don't eff around with my email!

I was not happy at all with your new version. I have lost many e-mails. Did not like at all.

This new layout with an AI preview IN the email is bullsh*t! I have a MSCS, CISSP, C|EH and I HATE this! What are you trying to do, be Gmail? I hate their layout too. Give us a choice of Classic or this garbage.

I can understand this being new and different, but it just feels so off. Despite it looking smoother and more modern, it just feels clunky and oversimplified. Moving trash, unread, spam, and archive to the "..." instead of leaving them on the sidebar is weird. Condensing all the folders into one "Folder" is frustrating as well. Definitely makes it harder to navigate or organize emails! I might just leave it in the "basic mail" option in the settings since that's the closest thing to classic at the moment.
This just feels like the Yahoo Mail app being run in a browser and it doesn't work well at all :(

This new version is awful. You attempted to "fix" something that wasn't broken and made it terrible as a result. Let me go back.
