Return to Classic Mail
Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

I want to see ALL folders and it's not intuitive at all to use. The new version SUCKS. Bring back the classic Yahoo mail , not need AI , none of your business on what is being done in an email

I feel as though I am waaaay back in the late 1900's at best!!!! . Impractical. I want eyes-on at all times for my folders and I want to have 110% of control for formatting folders and design. The only thing I would wish for in the original format is to have sub-folders under main folders that I can drop down to and then collapse. Example" I have Amazon. Then I have a return/refund request folder, refund in process notification folder, refund complete folder and UPS return notification processed. I will leave Yahoo if I cannot keep and maintain the last original format.

I agree wholeheartedly with Mr. Runge's comments below.
Most especially that the new version is extremely cluttered and not at all user-friendly.
Please revert to Yahoo Classic, or at least leave that option open to people (on the extremely remote chance that literally anyone actually likes your new version). -

Subject: Furious Complaint – Yahoo Mail’s Update is a Disaster
Dear Yahoo Support Team,
I cannot believe I have to write this email, but here we are. What on earth were you thinking? Not only have you stripped away themes, one of Yahoo Mail’s BEST features, but you’ve also forced a slow, cluttered, and infuriating interface onto users with no way to opt-out.
For years, I stuck with Yahoo Mail because it allowed customization giving me control over how my inbox looked and functioned. Now? You’ve replaced it with a bland, uninspired, and frankly ugly interface that no one asked for. Why would you remove features that actually improved usability? Themes weren’t just about aesthetics they helped with organization, visibility, and user comfort. Now, I’m left staring at a sterile, personality-less inbox that makes using Yahoo Mail a miserable experience.
To make matters worse, this update has introduced:
Sluggish performance – Emails take longer to load, impacting productivity.
A confusing layout – Basic navigation has become frustrating and inefficient.
More intrusive ads – Further cluttering the experience while ignoring real user concerns.
No option to revert to the old version – Forcing this change without choice is unacceptable.
This is a complete failure of user experience. Instead of improving Yahoo Mail, you have actively made it worse and instead of listening to users, you are forcing unnecessary changes down our throats.Let me be crystal clear: I want my themes back. I want control over how my inbox looks. If Yahoo is going to remove features people love, then at the very least, you must allow users to revert to the old interface.
If themes aren’t restored and performance issues aren’t addressed, I will have no choice but to switch to an email provider that actually respects its users. And judging by the sheer volume of complaints online, I’m far from the only one thinking this way.
Fix this. Listen to your users. Bring back themes. Stop making Yahoo Mail worse.
Waiting (impatiently) for your response.
Sincerely,
-

Please give a real option to change back to the original mail format. This new version is far less useful, more difficult to navigate, has no option for aesthetic customization, and is ugly.

When I go to open an email, the trash and other buttons appear making to easy to discard the email before opening it. Whoever designed this new site should not be doing so...

I find that either I cannot see the bottom of the page or I cannot see the top of the page.
So I cannot access additional folders or settings cause I cannot see the 3 dots below the folder icon.....OR I cannot compose an email because the purple compose bottom is not visible.
What the heck? I use Firefox/Mozilla and have for years. NEVER had this problem until your new version of mail (which, of course, most of us think is a hot mess).
Fix the page orientation. Because of your new layout I have to be able to see the entire page to use the email.
My preference would be to have you stop killing our productivity and revert to the former layout. That appears to be a request ignored by you. So if we are forced to use this substandard email service, at least give us access to the entire page.

why do they think we want something new??? the reason why yahoo mail is still around is because of us who were so used to the classic email interface, otherwise we would have switched to gmail?? don't they understand their customer base? they are not gonna beat gmail ever, but atleast they can stick true to those who stood by them, but this is going to lose so many people its insane.

*Those asking about going back
to the old version. Unfortunately, if you do not see the "Go Back" button you cannot to back. We really hope you'll try the new experience! Thanks!I hate it. It's horrible. I didn't like Gmail as much as Yahoo, but now Gmail is leaps and bounds better than Yahoo. I have several email addresses with Yahoo but I'm going to forward all my emails to Gmail. It takes forever to just sort emails into folders, and then suddenly it's done a bulk transfer and my entire inbox is empty. I can't chose font styles or sizes. Anyway, it was nice while it lasted. Leaving Yahoo immediately. So done.
